Such a cute smaller attraction off the beaten path of the Main Saint Augustine area. Definitely worth going for a small educational look and see of aquatic life. They offer snorkeling and their Upground aquarium along with a ropes course strung above the area. There's a smaller trail behind the facility that you can walk and explore on your own. Restroom is available and a small gift shop. You can purchase food to feed and or pet the sharks and stingrays. Great facility for smaller schools to visit they do offer summer camps as well . read more

This place wasn't exactly what we were expecting. It was all outside and it lacked the refinement of other aquariums we've been to. While we saw fish in a large tank, sharks in a secluded area, and stingrays in another water tank, all the exhibits looked as though they needed to be remodeled and spruced up. We did the guided tour, which lasted about 40 minutes and was quite informative, but given the hot day, standing in the heat trying to listen with little kids was challenging for the group. This is not a place that I would probably return or bring other people to visit but it was nice to check it out on a quiet Sunday afternoon. read more

We took a day trip to St Augustine and stopped at this aquarium. Our guided tour was so fun and informative. My elementary aged kids enjoyed this trip. I got cheaper tickets on Groupon but paid extra for the shark feeding. We spent about one and a half hours there. It's all outside so having beautiful weather was helpful. read more

I LOVE the St Augustine Aquarium! Super friendly and informative people. It's very family friendly with a lot of fun games for the toddlers. Loved seeing all different types of animals including an eel, lionfish, seahorses, and sea stars! They have a really cool opportunity where you can touch and feed a shark and a stingray! Expensive for no more than they have. Don't pay for the meet and greet as you do not get much for your money. I gave 2 stars because they did give store credit for the ones in our group that didn't get to meet and greet because the animals were not interested which is understandable. However there isn't much in the gift shop so we ended up spending more. Also staff were not very patient with small kids who have a hard time seeing what is being shown. read more

If you're expecting a big legit aquarium. Don't! This is a very small rinky dink backyard type of experience. It'll take about an hour to get you through the tour. The guide was pretty cool, and throw alot of cool information and allows you to ask questions but there's really only 3 exhibits (maybe you can call it 4). We paid extra to do the shark and stingray feeding and touch. And the Sharks weren't into coming for the food. So the tour guide allowed us to have some extra time with the Stingrays or instructed us that we could talk to the souvenir shop and they would make it right. But because of extra time with the Stingrays we called it even and did it that's much about it. read more

Saw that you could touch and feed the shark and it got my attention we drove over and when we got there looks like someone's backyard not that much to see the fish tank is a pool where you could swim with 30 fishes with blue dye in the pool too look like salt water :/ The shark area you can't touch them really just the top and feed them with this tonges for cooking . You could finish this place in 5 mins maybe why it cost only $5 to go inside . This is not a typical aquarium that most would imagine when "aquarium" is mentioned. It's kind of small, and it's an outside aquarium and you walk around 3 different areas of the property. They have tours every hour on the hour, definitely don't miss it. The tour guide truly makes the entire experience. I believe our guide's name was Alex. He was extremely knowledgeable and told us about literally every single animal that they have on the property. He kept up the energy and kept us intrigued with lots of interesting facts and questions for us to answer. Also before moving on to any new section he would always make sure if we had any questions. Without the guide, I feel like this would have been a very dull experience. You do get to see lots of different marine life up close, and you are even allowed to touch a few without paying lol. They do have nurse shark feeding and petting experiences, as well as snorkeling, all for an added price of course. Snorkeling takes place in the large tank with the one stingray. Aside from this, they have a little nature path that leads to a beautiful lake, but do be warned apparently there may be venomous snakes or other wildlife in the area. They had plans and built a lot for a treetop trail & ziplining but that was run by a separate company that backed out so unfortunately that wasn't available. Did look pretty fun though. However, there was a lot of gnats flying around and the snorkeling water looked very green and dirty with stuff floating in it. Great educational excursion for age groups of 5yrs old to 12yrs old. I highly recommend coming with a hat or small fan as it is outside. Closed toed shoes are a must as the pathways are different and can be hazardous if you don't step correctly. Don't go in thinking this is your typical aquarium and you will not be disappointed. This is a very small, young business that appears to be still getting off the ground but has a lot of potential. I think it would be a great time for families and young children. We went as a group of adults because we found a coupon for snorkeling, it was much different than I expected but still a good time and would recommend it, especially with a coupon. General entry buys you about an hour-long tour of the place with a guide that explains some of the invasive species to Florida as well as some native species to the area. The tour was very informative and you can tell the guides really know their stuff and have a passion for marine biology. You also get to see some pretty decent size nurse sharks, stingray, and grouper up very close which was really neat. We paid for the snorkeling which was in the same tank you get the tour of with general admission, except you get to swim around with the fish and one stingray for about a half-hour. This was a cool experience as schools of fish would surround you and nibble on your wetsuit. The guide on this portion gave us a few facts but covered most of the same info as the tour during general admission. All in all, it was a good experience and I hope this place continues to grow and develop. read more

My family surprised me for father's day with a trip here. Finding this location once getting of I95 was not hard. We noticed the bathrooms are outside the aquarium. You first check in at the same shop you exit through. Once you are inside the park you will notice the area they have is a bit small. There are a few fun activities in the park to do. You can feed sting rays, pet small fish, play bean bag toss, or swim with the fish. We swam with the fish in the big tank. The park provides snorkeling equipment and attire. The changing area seems to not be very secure or private. The staff will help you adjust the attire and equipment. Our snorkeling instructor, Olivia, was very knowledgeable. She answered all questions and gave an informative experience. This is a low cost fun family experience. We recommend this location to everyone. read more

This place will blow your mind. We had Dan as our tour guide. He did such an exceptional job as showing us stuff. We had gone to all the other stuff at St Augs and had a kinda slow day, until we got to the aquarium. I'm a 15 year old kid, so take my word as you want to, but that was so educational and fun just to experience. I'll keep it short, but going and getting that personal tour gave us such a good time. We learned so much from Dan, and even if the place looks small, he made us a new memory. The fish have so much life to them. We had no idea what to expect but we were blown away. This place is a quintessential small town Florida attraction. The prices are not bad, the experience is good enough and they care about their aquatic life. I would have liked to see the concession manned a little better but there weren't a whole lot of people, literally 3 of us at the time, so it may have been by design. Still, would go back. Place is super small... We paid for the touch and feed the sharks and it was literally just using a pair of Tongs (while the employee there held the tongs with you) and a small 1 inch piece of anchovy chopped up.....we paid EXTRA money to feed a small one inch cut up piece of anchovy with tongs..... I just had to repeat that..... Our guide at first was a young girl with glasses who really wasn't that great at guiding....another girl ended up cutting in while she was doing the tour and she was much better and interactive.... Overall this place is super small....my husband and I spent about $100 between both of us for the "experiences" there and we were so disappointed we would've preferred that money being spent else where..... The groupon is not worth it.... It's literally a couple fish aquariums (like ones people have in their living rooms) with an exception of one with horseshoe crabs that's about the size of a small kids swimming pool you buy at Walmart and the place where they keep the sharks and some other fish. Again. Super disappointing and I'm annoyed my husband even spent money on this. read more
