This review is for the Christmas Light Tour I had a very disappointing experience with St. Augustine Land and Sea Tours due to poor communication and a lack of integrity. I received a text message at 3:00 PM (sent at 1:15 PM, but not seen until later) stating that they were having mechanical issues with one of their carts and wanted to move my reservation to 8:00 PM. This did not work for me, as I cannot drive at night and the person driving me was unable to change his plans. They then asked if 6:30 PM would work, which I agreed to, but this change meant I now had to take an Uber since my driver had already made other arrangements. I requested a refund for the one person who could no longer attend due to their schedule change and was told the cancellation policy is 24 hours. I explained that the 24-hour policy should apply both ways, especially when the company is the one changing the reservation the day of the tour. To add to the confusion, I was then told I had been put back on my "original" time of 6:30 PM--however, my original reservation time was actually 7:30 PM. I would have gladly paid my $40 ticket and the additional $25 each way for Uber transportation if they had refunded the second ticket. However, paying $130 total just to look at Christmas lights is excessive. The fact that the company changed the schedule and still refused to refund the one ticket speaks volumes about their integrity. I highly do not recommend using this company for any tours. read more

This company is a JOKE, truly a tourist trap. The lady didn't know any St Augustine history and she also didn't know any real ghost stories. She kept asking the guests if we knew any ghost stories but we all stayed silent waiting for her to speak. She didn't take us around any cool places in st Augustine. She knew nothing about the old buildings. The sucky part was I've been to other tours from other companies and they really are fun but this was just a disgrace to ghost tours. Please keep your money or go to the TROLLY tours. The trolly tours are the SAME price except they're actually legit. Those people will take you around st Augustine and tell you all the history and REAL ghost stories with facts to back it up. I hope I can save someone from wasting their money read more

I would like to update my review of the ghost tour my friends and I took. It was not the best tour but after posting my review the owner contacted me and sent me a full refund, he also asked me questions to make sure he could fix the problem . He apologized for the bad experience and I feel did his best to make the situation right. I will try this company again because they are a stand up honest and caring business. read more

We took the haunted golf cart tour and really enjoyed it. Our guide was Robert and he was very knowledgeable; shared photos other guests had taken on their tours that contained orbs and such. Communication was great and we had a wonderful time! We spent about 10 minutes at each stop and had the ability to get off the cart and take pictures if we wanted to. We were even able to laugh it off when our golf cart got a flat tire (near the very end of our tour) - joking that one of the ghosts must have done it. The owner responded quickly and Robert was able to arrange to have another cart pick us up to return us to the start/end area. We know they offer a history tour as well and we are already planning on taking that during our next St. A. trip. read more

Our tour actually turned out to be just the two of us and the husband and wife tour guides. They were extremely knowledgeable and easy to talk with. The tour seemed more like a four friends just hanging out and learning about this fascinating city. The tour started in the central plaza area and then progressed to the Victory III ship for the water portion of the tour. We sat at the bow of the ship which provides a great breeze and was out of the direct sun. The walking part was easy and very interesting. They are very good at reading the group and then tailoring the stories to the individual people. It was very relaxed and interesting. I highly recommend this tour to see St. Augustine from both the land and the sea. read more

Not a very personable experience. We asked the driver if he would narrate and his response was "music and lights is all you get" so for the cheap cost of $40, you get a nice quite ride through the city of lights but unless you live in St Augustine, you have no idea what you are seeing but a bunch of white lights. Pay the extra $40 and take the trolley tour. Much more energetic when you get the special glasses and the driver energizes the riders. read more

I really enjoyed the several stops we made to explore, and the boat ride was fantastic. Amazing !! Chance was the best tour guide we had on our trip. We did multiple tours both ghost and non ghost and this was our very favorite tour. My mom messed he foot up walking all day and everyone was very patient with her super slow walk- that being said, if you can't walk long distances this is the tour for you. We booked a private golf cart for six for the Night of Lights. The cart was decorated nicely. The route was good for seeing some great lights and festive music was played. Fun experience for all. We took the combination Golf Cart and Boat tour which took about 2.5 hours in total. Our golf cart guide Luis was friendly, interesting and took us to the key sights and a few off the beaten path. There were four in our group and four others on the golf cart. This is a tours that you don't hop on and off - (except to see the statue of David!). It was followed by our boat tour -which provided beautiful views of the city and also accessed park areas which you couldn't get to in the golf cart or other tour. Again - it's not an on or off - just sit back and relax. It was a fun filled and enjoyable 2.5 hours and provided a great overview of the city and sights - which we could then decide which to go back to explore. We were on the shared cart tour and Luis, our driver and guide, was kind and knowledgeable. My older sister, who is disabled, was my companion. I thought the golf cart would be easier for her than the trolley. That was a good decision, and Luis was helpful with her rolling walker which he stored up front. St. Augustine is a beautiful and historic city and we got a taste of it all -- north, south, east and west -- on this one-hour tour. read more

We had a great time on this combo tour. First off, let me acknowledge the meeting location was easy to find, the vehicle was clearly marked, etc. Our guide Chance was awesome ! Very friendly, gave us sooo much info as we traveled about the city and made our day fantastic. He took us through a historic neighborhood that was so enchanting we returned with our own vehicle later and spent an hour just driving around it. I took a Golf cart tour. The description said 9 people max but there were 10 and since I was the last to arrive, even before the start time, I had to sit at the back facing backwards. The description makes it seem like we would stop places but you don't. It's basically an expensive way to get an overview of the town with a very small amount of history thrown in. read more

This tour is not to be missed!!! St. Augustine is loaded with so much history that you truly need local experts to guide you down the streets and alleys. The tour started with a cruise around the bay seeing America's oldest city from the explorers' point of view. We lucked out and saw two pods of dolphins. We then explored the known and unknown historical sites in the city via a walking tour. All in all the tour lasted about 2 1/2 hours. We wish it was longer. We took the food tour of downtown St Augustine and had a great time. Echo and her husband Karl whisked us around on a golf cart so that they could explain the city's history in between our visits to five different restaurants. We had drinks, appetizers, food, and dessert. They were great hosts and very knowledgeable of the area. The establishments were very accommodating and the food was very good. The walking tour was great and they informed us about things you wouldn't normally get in a large group tour. The boat tour was relaxing with beautiful views of St. Augustine and we were lucky and got to see dolphins -- with a couple encounters that were close to the boat!
