I'm glad I did not look this church up or know what I know now. I was introduced to this church…read morefrom a friend and watched it online one Sunday and thought I should go in person. This morning I sat behind someone I did not know who ended up being Casey Treat. I wondered why there was a bodyguard standing at the end of the row that Casey sat in and I was in the row right behind. Again, I didn't know who he was. When I left, I was meeting a friend for breakfast and all I could tell her was it seemed Like a show it seemed like bigger than life animation, but I did not feel the presence of Jesus in that room. I also watched Casey speak aloud over his son's sermon over and over and over which was so disrespectful. I also saw Casey on his phone, the entire time texting doing whatever he's doing, which tells me his heart was not close to where it should be in that congregation. There were flashy lights out in the lobby and I think the reason they ask for money so much is not just so much for Casey and his family rather that building is huge and must cost a ton of money to maintain. I'm not sure if this is true or not but I heard that this church is going to have to move due to the light rail being put in its place. If that's the case, I would say God is working miracles. I will not return to this church, but I can say that the people around me were very friendly that I was welcomed when I came in, but I felt that both Casey and the son who is ministering was auditioning for a role on ABC. That's not what I want. It might be what you want, but it's not for me. May God be with all of us and fill our hearts with Jesus. Blessings to everyone this holy week.

Everyone affiliated with the church seemed to be genuinely thrilled to be there and interact with each other. The kids' choirs were robust, full of talented, engaged kids, and entertaining. The church appears to have extensive facilities and staff volunteers for the kids' program and a vibrant program of activities for men, women, kids, seniors, etc. Easy to find with available parking. Huge main church room with great music amplification, lighting, and AV equipment. There's also a sort of fellowship hall/coffee room for post-service meet and greets, but we didn't stay for that part. Since this was a special presentation and service, I am not too aware of the specific focus or views of this church, pastor, and elders. While some churches aim to please with whomever is most charismatic being chosen to lead, St. Luke's stays true to Biblical teaching with pastors who have studied the Bible in seminary and preach God's word in every sermon. The Sunday School program is AMAZING and there are a lot of youth of all ages. Lastly, the music is INCREDIBLE with a full band of talented singers and musicians. There are two types of services so people can choose between contemporary music with the band or traditional (with hymns). Come check it out! The lead Pastor is a kind, funny, and easy to talk to man who would be happy to welcome you and answer any questions.

Last time I went my toddler opened the area for nursing located in the women's bathrooms, I apologized to the person who was there and I didn't get a smile or a response ( she wasn't pumping or breastfeeding just sitting) then to my surprised she was one of the lead singers! I get it we have bad days, serious days whatever but if you're up there representing I feel like you have to show some type of friendliness. I don't know just my opinion. No church but I think I'll just stick to my relationship with God.
