The interior is beautiful, peaceful, and filled with history. Even if you're not religious, there's plenty to appreciate here simply from an architectural and historical perspective. It's also one of those landmarks that feels inseparable from the French Quarter. Seeing the cathedral towering over Jackson Square is such a classic New Orleans view, especially in the evening when the whole area takes on a different atmosphere. Admission is free, so there's really no reason to skip it if you're already exploring the French Quarter. Just remember that it is an active place of worship and be respectful when visiting. An essential New Orleans landmark and an easy five stars from me.

Forgot to bring your weekly envelope with a check inside, no problem! Just whip out that plastic, select your amount on the screen and tap! I about fell out of my pew when I saw that this past weekend. Amazing! An usher told me later that it has increased collections because people don't like to carry cash. What a novel idea!

We loved the split of an early and late service as we travel a lot and sometime work Saturday nights. The preaching was pretty good, it is a diverse and welcoming church of about 50-60 people in the service. They have open communion and a children's ministry during the preaching section. The music is decent but not that polished some of the songs you can hear on Lifesongs but some were unfamiliar and more folksy hymny. I love the way the end service and think it is a solid option for someone who prefers solid bible based teaching in a comfortable relaxed open environment.

The "style" of this church was very similar to in the laid back dress, rockin' music, and uber friendly greeters. However, unlike my church, my former church, which beams in messages from Northpoint and has about 1000 attendees per service this church has a solid 100 folks in a service and a HILARIOUS pastor live an in person. Although I don't quite feel this is where God is leading me to plant, I do plan on continuing to visit as I search out my permanent home. I would highly recommend to any visitor or newbie searching for a new spiritual family that will encourage your spiritual journey.
