My father has been a member of this church for 20+ years. Always going to the 7:30am Mass. sitting the same seat every Sunday. Always donating the same thing. You would think that if someone who has been so consistent over the years, is missing for three months, someone from the parish would call. To check on him. My 95 year old father has taken ill and not one person from the church has reached out. What kind of parish is this? While it's not on the scale of what has been happening around the World it's still ver disappointing and my family has lost what faith we have had in the church.

It's a newer church, so it's relatively small, but I'm excited to be even a tiny part of the beginning of something incredible happening in Babylon. What's most unique is the shape of the structure; very high ceilings, prism shape and glass walls/ceilings which allow nature and the sky to be part of the experience. The priest was very welcoming and created a very personalized service for the family. He tied in scripture and biblical stories that connected us all to the Gospel and to the one we loved and lost. My family has been coming to Christ Alive for over a month now. This is our new home church and we…read morelove it. Pastor Cristi and Bob are terrific and both very strong in Christ and wonderful people. The worship team is outstanding and lead terrific worship every week. there is an active childrens ministry with great teachers and my kids have learned and retained more about the bible in the past month than they did the past three years. There is 1 Wednesday a month at night where they have worship and prayer and 3 other where there is teaching almost like a bible study. While not as attended like a Sunday, these are wonderful in helping you keep Christ focused during the week and spending extra time with church family. The church also has small groups, called Life groups, which change about quarterly and offered both at the church and at people's homes depending on the group. The church also holds food drives and has a 1 Saturday a month Food Pantry to feed the needy, doing Christ work in the community is a big part of the identity here. I love it. No better church in the area. People of all races and nationalities are welcome and the church is very diverse.

It's some of my most favorite volunteer work I've ever done! Many of the priests and staff members happen to know me by name too! Fr. Francis is seriously our own pope and always makes us feel important!!! The other altar servers I have worked with are practically saints they're so nice! The School of Religion office Staff Mrs. McKee, Mrs. Hansen, and Mrs. Squilante are some of the nicest people you'll meet and are very uplifting people! All the religion teachers are great too! My friends and I have done service projects for the SVDP food pantry here, where some of the nicest people work! Volunteering here always takes my mind off of bad stuff in the world and the negative atmosphere of school. (I go to catholic school and there are STILL a lot of rude people there, but hopefully high school will be better.) The way I'm treated here (by both adults and the SOR students) compared to at school makes me even more grateful for all the staff and fellow parishioners here. The ushers are so nice and always have huge smiles on their faces, the choir (the adults and definitely the kids too) sounds amazing, and our organist, Deanna, is fantastic! So are all the other instrumentalists!

I have been going to St Agnes Catherdal for over 25 years since I live in the area…read moreMy 3rd child was baptized here All my 3 kids were confirmed here All 3 kids took religion classes here I attend the morning mass 1-2 times a week before going to work It's a great place to worship They have a great big pipe organ Acoustics is great not eerie or annoying It has recently been thoroughly renovated inside and out and it looks great post renovation. Very clean and well executed I find the church to be a very comforting and consoling place especially when I'm lacking or having short comings about my faith The holy water bowls are well maintained and always clean It's rated 5 stars and highly recommended if you are a hard core or so-so catholic
