My child experienced a lack of sense of safety at this school due to the administration not being able to handle a problem. This school also has teachers who my child and many others have said to be "total nuts" due to the way some of these teachers use their class time. My son came home saying how his teacher was doing "ballet" and "writing with one leg in the air". This was upsetting to hear considering how much respect i had for this school. i go here me and my brother for 6 years. love this school it just they had a fall off. it was so good until the old principle just i dont know did something. cause these teachers are like something else. one of them cant even like take care of her own class or calm them down. Yes they work hard but not hard enough. one of the teachers dosent know how to do a lockdown stepped out cause she cant lock the door for her life had to go outside to lock it for 2 minutes like man at this point my brother would have died. she didnt even turn off the lights or put the way around the school on the window. read more

I agree with the bad reviews first time at school for my kid I just dropped off my kid and watched him going upstairs since we were late for his communion class, there was a stuff lady told me not to wander around and asked me to leave I was barely standing and she dropped into conclusions and they were more students came with parents and she told them what I was doing. The teachers here don't seem like they're doing it for the kids, but rather for themselves. The school hires parents of the students to come in and teach. These people don't have a degree, neither do they have a license to teach. But, this school just doesn't care. The students here aren't getting the education that they deserve. My advice don't go here if you actually want your kids to succeed in life. read more

I am very sad to say that I was a former student of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton. Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience while I was there. The junior high teachers specifically had no respect for their students whatsoever. Most teachers would take pleasure in picking on their students, or so they made it seem that way. These teachers act as if they were miserable teaching us and gossiped more than the alumni. Isn't this a Catholic School? How hypocritical is it that they tell us not to gossip and threaten us with office referrals for gossiping, yet do it as well? When I started high school I expected my teachers to be exactly the same but found that they were encouraging, loving, and inspiring. I was not prepared academically. The only subject I seemed prepared for was science. The Math and English department, however, really lacked in preparing us for high school and I suffered tremendously because of it. I found that I needed to write this report because I felt honestly miserable every day going there. All the students felt victimized by the teachers from how they treated us. Honestly, I felt horrible when teachers would talk down to me or spoke in a patronizing or dismissive tone. Many of the teachers had favorites and sadly, when you weren't one of them, you weren't treated equally. I found it unacceptable when one of our teachers had her own child in her class. It didn't seem fair and I wasn't the only person who felt this way. Going to a Catholic school you would expect your theology class to help you grow in your faith. I didn't feel at all connected to God going to this school, but going into my high school my theology teacher was so loving, supportive, and made sure that he knew we were loved. I don't mean to offend anyone, but I felt that after all those years of being mistreated, I felt that it wasn't fair that parents should pay so much money for their children to be miserable. Honestly I agree with unknown A's review. My child attended this school for middle school and he definitely did not like it here or myself either. The teachers are bias, they never seem to have a stable English teacher and the math teacher is always in a rush during a lesson. My child was not one teachers favorite and that really affected his conduct. If everyone in a classroom was talking the teachers would probably only call on my child because they didn't like him and he might of not even been doing anything wrong but he would still get in trouble and if he tried to explain himself they would automatically think he was talking back and get in trouble again. Another thing the teachers would do was gossip and be sarcastically rude to a student or sometimes when my son needed help on homework the teachers would get mad if you didn't understand and basically made you look like you were dumb, therefore a lot of students would get a tutor instead. I thought this school would be a great choice for my son but I was wrong and do not recommend this school for anyone. read more
