The current director is aware of a teacher putting their hands on two children and that teacher has had no consequences. She has a "30-day suspension" where she is still allowed to work around kids, including the two she put her hands on. I would not recommend working here nor bringing your kids here. I keep in contact with parents and they repletely tell me what the administrative staff tells them, how rudely they talk to them and how little they make the parents feel. One time I had one of my kids choke on a piece of food and I had to do the Heimlich maneuver on said kid. Thankfully it came out and the kid is ok, but they did not inform the parents of what happened to their own child. So said child went home and said she choked on a piece of food, the mother texted me that night furiously asking me what happened. When I explained the situation and told her I told the administrative staff, she was even more furious. They failed to contact the mother, which resulted in me having to calm her down. Another time I had one of my kids hit his head hard, to the point where he was bleeding and had to go get surgical glue for the cut. I called on the walkie in tears saying I needed help, and no one came. It took another teacher to tell them to come to my room. The front obviously had favorites, but they are so petty to the point where they would ignore a bleeding child simply because they did not like me. All the front desk did was ignore us and talk bad about the parents. So bad to the point where a parent left in tears and withdrew her kid, I still keep in touch, and she was so happy for me when I told her I was not at chrysalis anymore. They will talk bad about you and your child; I have heard it with every single kid who walks in that door. Chrysalis never ever had one good thing to say about me. I was there for almost two years and on my last day my boss told me the following "None of the parents or kids liked me. I am not fit to be a teacher; I was a bad teacher, and I should have been gone a long time ago." The office staff is very petty and very messy, after my time at chrysalis I had staff tell me "So and so said this about you" one month after I was gone. The front desk women are very messy and very unprofessional. They made the work environment so unbearable and toxic. The teachers there were overworked, tired, crying, and the front and director did nothing to help. She gave us a chocolate bar and that was it. I loved my kids, to this day I babysit and keep in contact with them. It was never the kids. They were the best kids to me. The main problem was the front desk, the director and the way they ran things. I have more and more stories about chrysalis, but it keeps me up at night feeling so bad the teachers who are good teachers there. PLEASE DO NOT WORK OR BRING YOUR KIDS TO THIS SCHOOL. If my coworkers are reading this, I hope you realize the pain you have brought upon me. Chrysalis 'Christian' preschool is nothing but a scam. Do NOT contact me.

He excelled in academics. He was reading before 5 and after the Kinder program here, he was far ahead of other children his age. (which we did not realize until 1st grade). The director helped us locate schools with programs fitting for his GT level. He is wonderful in every aspect, from staying in touch with us and offering suggestions even after we were no longer attending the school. His teachers were amazing, patient and learned how he individually learned. They are a true Montessori school and not a glorified daycare. We miss everyone there truly and wish they had options thru high school. Our son was his best self when attending school here. They are a family business with professionalism beyond.

Our children are able to have a safe space to be themselves with gentle guidance and clarity on school expectations. They have learned so much and have surpassed developmental milestones. I absolutely love the foundation of them learning who God is and how he plays a major part in our lives. Our oldest attended a public charter school for Kindergarten and half of 1st grade before re-enrolling her back into BCA. We have seen a huge improvement in her reading, writing, spelling and confidence. Our youngest went through having behavior kids biting and attacking her before teachers even noticed at her previous daycare. We have seen a huge improvement in her behavior and confidence as well. She knows how to spell and working on writing her own name at 3yrs of age. The faculty and staff work together to provide a safe and close knit community for our children. I highly recommend BCA to anyone who want to have smaller classrooms, food provided, and before/after school programs.

My wife and I recently pulled our daughter from WBA after two years. We were extremely excited when we got accepted two years ago, just when the Covid restrictions were being lifted. We knew that public schooling was no longer an option and prayed for direction on what to do. We were introduced to this school by a friend whose child was enrolled and is no longer for similar reasons. At first, they were very kind and gracious and we obviously shared the love of Jesus. It wasn't until we got a few months in and realized that there is serious control issues with the leadership. Everything must be approved and conveyed through the principal who is also the pastor of the independent fundamentalist baptists church that the school operates out of. So much so, that you can never get an immediate answer on anything from anyone, even if they're the individual who is in charge of the department that the questions pertain to. All question to the teachers about anything related to the students must be filtered through him first so that he can dictate what their responses should be. I digress because I could go on and on, but won't belabor at this juncture. We had several conversations with the pastor/principle and he informed us that he had some regrets about opening up enrollment to "non church members" because of differences in opinions. Which was basically his way of saying that any Christians who are not in lock step with methodologies and beliefs of his church are problems because they actually stand up and voice their concerns. Yes, we kept our daughter there for two years. For one reason, the price was unbeatable compared to other private Christian schools. The second was because she got a new teacher who we thought would be a nice change. While I can say that her new teacher was an improvement, it still didn't affect how the school operated. I have to include that both of my daughter's teachers (from last year and this year) are no longer teaching at the school for reasons I care not to discuss here, but just know that they do not pay or treat the teachers very well, AT ALL! To be honest, they teach using the Bob Jones homeschool curriculum, which is basically you paying for homeschooling and then also paying for someone to teach via the homeschooling curriculum. I'm not saying that this is either good or bad. I'm just stating the facts. You make your own decisions. From what we're told, the students rank very high in regards to their academics and are in the highest percentiles, especially compared to public schools, but now that I think about it, we were never given the actual statistics and what measure they were using to determine that information. Honestly, while the price is very desirable, if you're not a member of their church or if you have a voice and expect to be treated with respect and honor, don't bother considering this school for your children. If you're someone who is too meek to stand up for yourself, this school may be right for you. It wasn't for us.
