Just reach up in there and deliver this baby" first off she's a mirror maybe eight weeks pregnant so there should be no delivery in sight and secondly, why are we talking about reaching up in anywhere?!! then turning around and walking in the room, all arrogant!! if there was no intentions in the hospital itself, knew they had no way of actually being able to check or help because there is no maternity ward left in this hospital then why weren't they told that at the emergency desk upon arrival instead of being put in a room for four hours Being treated poorly talk to poorly and not sent someplace that could have ease their mind instead of merely telling them, you might wanna wait until you go to your OB/GYN to see if you're in the beginning stages of what could possibly be a miscarriage, but we're not really sure You might have to have these test ran again!!! Absolutely disgusting!! And what is worse his name is No in MyChart so how easy do you think it is to get it to be able to launch a formal complaint so there's that!

They have always gone above and beyond for my husband at his appointments. I'd specifically like to recognize Carol, Nevah, Tammy and Miranda who all had to assist us during the infusions but there were so many more staff members who helped, assisted and checked on my husband. We could not be more grateful for the attention and care we receive!

I have seen a few other birthing rooms in CLE which are small, cramped, and gross. Tri-point has huge rooms & very clean, but the selling point is the staff. I am a "don't see the doctors unless on death's bed" bc I have never had a good experience with doctors or nurses, that is until now. I gave birth here, and although birth was absolutely horrible for me, if I were to have another kid I would want it here. The nurses were so kind & down to earth. I loved my OBGYN and all the nurses that helped me through the worst experience of my life. They are caring & kind and I felt super comfortable with them. I wish all nurses and doctors were just as great as the old lake west tri-point team.

On June 2nd, My son and I arrived at the Green location with my husban at a little past 7:30 AM…read morewith classic stroke symptoms: slurred speech, left-side weakness, and inability to stand. Despite these clear markers, Dr. Antonio Oliverio did testing and insisted there were no signs of a stroke, attributing the symptoms to "slight dehydration." We spent the entire day approximately 10 hours at the Green location receiving only aspirin and fluids. Precious time for stroke intervention was lost and my husband experienced continued damage by not being properly evealuated. I feel precious time due to the delay of care has cost him significantly and contributed to 2 further strokes, this is medically unacceptable. Dr. Oliverio even gave us the choice that we could go home, or seek an MRI at the Cleveland Clinic Akron General Main Location in Akron. The option that we could go home shocked the specialists we saw later at the Main Akron General location where we were transfered to. We were finally transferred to Cleveland Clinic Akron General at 5:00 PM, where Dr. William Woods identified the stroke immediately upon sight. Sanitary Concerns (ROU Room 10) Upon arrival at Cleveland Clinic Akron General, the laundry hamper in ROU Room 10 was overflowing with linens from a previous patient. These remained for two days despite my additions. When I finally moved the bin to the hall on Thursday morning to ensure it was emptied, a nurse was rude and dismissive, insisting it remain in the room despite being a clear sanitary hazard. Negligence and Unprofessionalism During TEE ProcedureThe most harrowing experience occurred during my husband's TEE on Thursday Jun 4th 1. Lack of Consent/Risk Disclosure: Risks were not explained to us in the "pod" as promised. My husband was asked to sign papers only as he was being rolled back. 2. Unprofessional Environment: My husband describes the procedure room as having a "wild party" atmosphere. Staff referred to him mockingly by a name he had asked them not to use, even after he asked them to stop, they continued to call him by the unwanted name.. 3. Medical Error: The nurse, Christa, referred to herself as the "bartender" and told my husband to "shoot" the numbing agent like a "Jello shot." Because of this instruction, he swallowed it instead of gargling, which he was apparently supposed to do. Christa admitted the mistake to a trainee Janelle, yet the doctor proceeded anyway. 4. Over-Sedation and Poor Monitoring: Because the first dose didn't work. During the procedure my husband was given a double dose of Fentanyl and Versed. He remained awake and traumatized for the procedure but then fell into a dangerously deep sleep for hours. In recovery, when his oxygen dropped below 94%, staff simply turned off the alarm rather than checking him, dismissively claiming he "probably has sleep apnea at home" (which he does not). This was totally unacceptable behavior with them knowing they had double dosed him. Conclusion My husband's nurse, Derek, and the ROU Manager, Michael Teodosio, were briefed on these events and witnessed my husband state upon returning from the procedure. Sat June 6th My husband was later in the day set for transport to Edwin Shaw in Copley for 1:30 PM, I ordered his lunch tray since lunch is served between 12 PM and 12:30 PM however he was never brought a tray. The team at Edwin Shaw was shocked that Akron General Akron location would transport a patient clearly after meal time without serving him a meal. They scrambled and got him a meal served at 2:30PM. We are seeking a formal review of the protocols at the Green location regarding stroke assessment and a full investigation into the conduct of the TEE team (specifically Christa). No patient should be mocked or subjected to "party-like" behavior during a high-stress medical procedure. Please take you loved ones to a caring facility other tan one where a Dr refuses to recognize the signs of a stroke!
