I had no swelling and no bruising from the procedure. The first 2 weeks were not easy but Akeso (Laurie) home healthcare took good care of me. They were here when I arrived home from the hospital to help my family get me in the house and settled in. I am 1 year post op and would do it all again for the results that I achieved....pain free!! I won't get into what my targeted treatment was...this review is for the staff and the comradery I witnessed between the staff and the clients. This staff is so knowledgeable, so caring and so focused on your success and treatment! So many clients with so many different needs...but the staff handles each client with dignity and care and support that I don't believe you would get anywhere else. Most nurses are great. some have zero business being nurses they have zero nursing skills. I as a…read morefamily member witnessed the DON be completely unprofessional as her own nurses spoke about her being not qualified for her job as she walked away. ive spoke to her several times myself and she speaks very hillbilly like and does not need to be the Director of anyone but maybe the Dollar Store. I've spoke with the charge nurse or manager several times also on the yellow wing hallway who is more than helpful and professional who seems to be a much better fit for the DON position than the lady who never calls you back or somehow is never to be found in the building. I've been a nurse for many years and this facility has their staff all wrong. the younger nurses are mouthy and rude and have zero respect. they need a reality check. some of them are so loud and say foul things which blows my mind. the owner or administrator better change his staff up a bit and get a better leader one who actually does work and looks like a professional when you walk in. people have left this facility because of her and those mouthy nurses. some have only stayed from me just chatting with families because of the few intelligent nurses and the manager back there. Caprice you better start paying attention before all your actual good people leave And go get paid more for the amazing job they do. Trust me. I hire those people.
