They hold regular soup suppers and have more than once helped our local emergency services by cooking and serving hot meals during extended power outages and other emergencies. The chruc also serves as a small, initial Red Cross emergency shelter for local families when there aren't enough people affected to open the huge high school for that purpose. I hate giving bad ratings, especially to a church but I had too. The 'church-lady' that I spoke with was rude and advised me that if I did not live in a certain area I could not join. But I advised her I wanted to join her church and travel. A church is a bunch of people celebrating a mass, it doesn't matter where the people are from, as long as they celebrate together. She advised me that those were the rules and I was not able to join or get married in that church unless I lived in the general area. Finally I found a church in the Lehigh Valley Area that accepted me no matter where I lived, but St. Elizabeth's was not one of those churches. Very disappointing.
