You can get low cost mani and pedis with free wifi at ProfessioNail. There is one clothes and accessories store for infants called Hatch opposite an older ladies fashion shop and even a DVD store. Great place to get vegetables. What a great find, but only gave it 3 stars as it it was sort of empty. One of the vendor told me that it is usually busier, and many vendors did not show up today as it is drizzling with rain. Open every Sunday 7-1pm. Ample parking. Has a toilet facility. Good variety of vegetables, they are fresh and good quality. You pay about to half of what you would normally pay for in most supermarkets. The fruits are cheap also, but the quality is variable. Some are overripe. A number of food stands, selling fish & chips, kebabs, hotdogs, dumplings, and some Japanese and Indian quick meals. I would not come here for the food. its no where close to the La Cigale Market. Would come again and check it out on a sunny Sunday, maybe will give it more stars then.

I've had several happy finds in here and once you walk in, it's easy to see why. The stock is all high-quality, and while it doesn't really feature high-end brands, there's lots of mid-range and locally designed clothes. There's also a small selection of bags, shoes, and jewellery. The clothing probably leans towards the more mature shopper, but that said, there's a good mix of styles. My only gripe is that the single fitting room is only a curtain in the corner of the room, which is never a good way to encourage the leisurely trying-on of multiple items that usually leads to a purchase. It's more of a get-in, get-it-on, and get-out type of scenario. Also, while there's a full-length mirror, there isn't much room around it, so it can be a bit tricky to see yourself in your glorious entirety. Still, worth a look if you're in the area.

The Christmas Heirloom Company is the best shop for new tree decorations, 'village' additions, and things to hang around the house, and make it really feel like Christmas. We love the shop so much and all the available decorations that we have to restrict ourselves every year to purchasing only a few select items. I imagine there is frustration in this sector of women since so many of the high fashion outlets are obsessed with showcasing smaller sizes. The boutique store has a lovely selection of dresses, tops, tunics, pants and cardies. So much is mix and match that you will be able to fill up your wardrobe here. I liked the presentation in store as well with many outfits styled on mannequins or on hangers, presenting fashion fabulous ideas one may have never dreamed of. The owner, Lorna, goes on buying trips overseas to hand-pick items for the shop, mostly in parts of Asia, so the stock is not the usual stuff that you would find in other places in New Zealand. It is organised really well, with a corporate section that has stylish comfortable work shoes, a slipper section with all sorts of leading slipper brands, such as Grosby, and also a large leather bag section to the right of the store. A nice place to go if you are after a unique pair of new comfortable shoes, or wanting a reasonably priced present for your mum or your sister.

However for the closest 2 and 5 dollar shop to me, they do a pretty good intermediary job when I don't have time to head out anywhere else. I usually peruse the stationary, plastics and costume sections, however they also stock a variety of other items, ranging from makeup to candles to vases. As the name suggests, most of the prices range between the 2 and 5 dollar mark, so don't expect anything of the highest quality; however I have to say I still own a lip liner that I got from there years ago as part of a costume and it surprisingly does just as a good a job as any of the more expensive ones I own.
