Our personal experience has been great both times! The doctors have always been caring & compassionate, and didn't make us feel like "crazy cat people" running to the vet at the first sneeze. The price was also reasonable -- we spent less than $100 at both visits for basic exam & medication. Our most recent appointment was on New Year's Eve, which was very convenient so our sick kitty didn't have to wait 2 more days to receive treatment! Love Village East. UPDATE 11/8/15: We had to finally take the 3rd cat in for something, and still had a great experience. Even though there wasn't anything wrong and we were just being paranoid pet parents, Village East made sure to explore the possibilities without charging us an arm & a leg. They even complimented us on our cat's name (Falkor) saying, "That's an awesome name for a cat." Love this clinic and will continue to use them whenever we need to (although, hopefully that won't be very often!)

Well, several months later age just caught up to our boy and we had to bring Jack back. We knew it was time for Jack as he has been with us for us 15 years and age just caught him up to him. After an exam the doctor gave us her opinion and reassured us with the decision we had to make.. As we had our daughter with us they brought Jack out for one last time to say good bye to our daughter and even had the tech sit in our car with her. The compassion and treatment we received was amazing. We did bring a coffin for Jack and they assisted us with making sure Jack was comfortable and even gave us a blanket to bury him in. They even did a paw print for us. I been wanting to write this review for a while, but it has been difficult. Fast forward to tonight as I open my mail and open a thank you card from Purdue University. Warrick Vet Clinic made a donation in the name of Jack for there Memoriam fund. They exceeded our expectations in so many ways and would highly recommend them to take care of your love one.

West side got him in quickly and removed it even though they aren't our regular vets office. I can't thank them enough! The hospital itself is very nice. Great seating area with separate entrances for cats and dogs. Nicely decorated. All staff members were so nice! Dr Marlo was so kind and did a great job. Cost was reasonable. Rest assured your pets are in good hands here.

Once he wanted to do a very expensive surgery on my elderly, sick dog. I didn't think she would survive the anesthesia. I went to get a second opinion. That vet said, "the anesthesia alone would kill her" He also said, the price that West Side wanted for the surgery was twice what most others charge. The last straw was when one of my dogs had a terrible reaction to a rabies vaccine. She could have died from it. The photos of her with red swollen eyes, huge hives all over her body and her face swollen are horrific. It happen not long after leaving the hospital but they had closed. A vet usually observes a dog for at least 30 minutes after vaccines. Especially when the dog has allergies like mine. That didn't happen. When the vet called me back the next day after receiving my email, he was apathetic. There was no concern or apolog I asked if he had viewed the photos. He said, no, and didn't offer to. I said that I didn't think he realized the severity of her reaction. He couldn't have cared less. When the called ended. I immediately called another animal hospital with a great reputation and made an intake appointment. The money for My 5 dogs healthcare will go to a vet that cares about their welfare not just money.

We had my parents take their dogs to Dr. Garret as well. We have adopted several rescue Shelties, and everyone at ARK has always made sure our "Kids" were well cared for. Sadly we are down to only one Sheltie now, as we recently lost our tri-color girl who was named Belle. Dr.Garret and Leslie along with the staff helped her live well past her 15th birthday. We love the holistic approach ARK provides as well. We just can't praise them enough for the wonderful care we always receive. It seems like only yesterday we first met Dr.Garret and Leslie. If you want great care for your "Kids" then you have to go to ARK. We wouldn't think of going to anyone else.

He is very knowledgeable and quick to diagnose the issue and treat them accordingly. My babies recover within the given time of the problem. I currently have a dog that is very skeptical and anxious when going somewhere out of the norm. Dr Nichols' calm nature somehow puts my dog at ease. I would recommend Dr. Nichols to anyone that wants excellent animal care. The office staff is very helpful as well. They give you an itemized statement of your charges. Which by the way are very very reasonable. I lost my car keys one day outside of of their office while walking my dog. It was scorching hot outside. While there was another employee in the office, the lady at the desk came outside to help me look. I know we looked for at least 30 minutes in the scorching heat until they were found. I couldn't imagine any other clinic having an employee that would go out of their way for something that was not at all in the job description.

We sadly just lost our Max and the whole staff and the vet was treating him like a king while he was so ill before he passed. The whole office was so caring and compassionate and sad as we were. It was so comforting in such a sad time to see how much love they had for our furbaby and they treated him as if they were losing their own. In a sad time it made my heart happy to know on his last day he was given so much love by the entire office as well as our family. I will continue forever to bring my other fur babies to her and her staff and I can't say thank you enough for showing our family the love and support that they gave us. I will always 100% recommend them to all family and friends. I wouldn't trust my fur babies with anyone else! If I could give 10 stars I would that's how great the office is!! This was not our usual vet. It was a very difficult visit with difficult decisions to make, & our…read moreusual vet was closed due to the holiday. I greatly appreciate Highland working us in the same day since we weren't established patients. The receptionist was very kind & supportive. When we arrived were very visibly upset about our pet who had been in our family 17+ years. She had been declining but took a quick turn for the worse & was in obvious pain & distress. Her condition (heart) was not fixable (according to our vet.) The clinical staff at Highland was ok, but didn't really seem to recognize our distress. Our vet tech was very nice but so upbeat for what we were going through. He may have truly been trying to make the best out of a difficult situation. But it was so traumatic when they took our pet right outside the exam room to start an IV, and we could hear her screaming out in pain. Taking her out of our earshot would have been considerate, or perhaps even giving her an oral sedative to make it less painful for her. I would have gladly paid for anything to make her last moments easier. When the vet came in he didn't introduce himself, and didn't offer any words or support or reassurance regarding the very difficult decision we had made. A tiny expression of sympathy would have meant so much to us in our distress. The only words he said were to ask me to move out of his way so he could get to our beloved pet. His facial expression was grouchy. He then left without another word. It was traumatic for our entire family. This may truly be an excellent vet clinic, & maybe we just caught them on a bad day, but based on our experience I would not recommend them for end of life decisions for a beloved pet. Our personal vet has a candle that they light so that those in the waiting area are quiet & respectful of a family who is losing their pet...a member of their family. Our vet also has a separate exit so that the family can leave with privacy. These small things would have meant a lot to us. Again, I greatly appreciate Highland working us in, but a few simple things could have made our experience, and our pet's passing, more peaceful.
