These feckless dimwits are now threatening to refer me to collections saying I didn't give them a chance to fix their mistakes. Not only did they come back to my property 4 times to no avail, they repeatedly missed appointments and had to be reminded to actually show up. AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE.

I mentioned that my dad uses another company and they dropped the monthly fee- so beware, there is room to negotiate. I also refused to sign a 1 or 2 year contract. 6 months- to try and also to look around and ask dad how much he pays. So- the very first tech they sent within 30 minutes of me signing up with the salesman was great. He knew what he was doing and I trusted him in my home. I asked if he would be my service man for the duration and he told me to request him. Yeah- I tried that the very next service date that was scheduled to no avail. I even told the next guy I wanted him and he said he would note it to the scheduler. I am 6 visits in all with completely different people. I have one more left in my contract and I will be cancelling. I like consistency. One of the scheduled days was rainy- aka- they couldn't really preform the service and I had to request the come out again because they never rescheduled a follow up to complete the service- even though that service tech said he would make sure they scheduled a follow up. Dealing with too many different faces and calling them is a joke, I am just a fee- not a person. Also- there are scheduling changes that sometimes happen after your service tech no shows. I get weather and/or having a longer service at another home- but communication is always key in any business. Ezequias was the one tech I really liked. I didn't meet half the other ones because they came while I was at work. He also trained 2 of the other techs I met and talked to. And yes- there is an early cancellation fee and that first tech went over everything in the contract with me to make sure I understood everything.

Over time I began receiving multiple invoices for the same service--sometimes up to three invoices issued days or months apart for the exact same charge. Because of this confusing billing practice, I later discovered that I had accidentally paid several invoices twice over the past year. I contacted their account specialist, Sandi, and provided documentation showing the duplicate payments. I requested a refund since these overpayments were never identified or credited on any invoice or statement. I was told that the payments had been "absorbed," but no documentation or explanation was ever provided to show how those payments were applied. After requesting this information three separate times without receiving any proof or clarification, I decided to cancel my tree service and ornamental service. I was also told that a manager would contact me to discuss the issue, but no one ever followed up. After more than 16 years of loyalty and using several of their services, the lack of transparency, accountability, and follow-up has been a major disappointment--especially from a family-owned business that I trusted for so many years. But (knock on wood) I haven't seen even one roach since my own Orkin Man started coming by regularly. Even when I'm not home, he is dedicated and accountable to helping me keep a pest free home. That's not easy to do in Florida. He gave me a list of things I can seal up around the property to help too. Together, those terrorists didn't have a chance. My sincere apologies though. I'm sorry about that sprinkler system. It's on a sensor to keep large palmetto roaches, snakes, cats and geckos from coming inside. It wasn't meant to spray you.
