The school has done very well accommodating her IEP, and when I had issues they addressed them in a timely manner. The only problem we struggle with now is the no cell phone law. I don't agree with no cell phones. I know it's a state law but I don't feel my child is protected. She has severe anxiety and wears headphones and listens to music, so I got her an mp3 player this year. It helps but if she needs me she has to either go to nurse or email me. Until violence in our schools is controlled, I think cell phones should be allowed! Teachers can manage cell phone usage in classrooms. Even most teachers disagree with the cell phone ban.

I was in the special needs class and the teacher for the B.A.S.E program at that time was Mr, harwell and he treated me horribly. I was constantly getting bullied and the teachers didn't even seem to care. they would not let me bring my phone to school so i can listen to music while i worked. They would not let me on my chromebook to work they made me do paper work and when i was on my chromebook they made me use a projector so they can watch what i was doing because of an incident that happened at burleson high. I was so embaressed and every time i went to school there it was a total disgrace. It made me feel like I am less of a human and it made me feel like i was a total piece of sh*t.

I took her…read morethere because I found it on FB and wanted her to experience something the owner Tina was very welcoming, the coaches were friendly and the way they treated my Granddaughter was warming. She needed something, I never thought she would love cheer but she did/does the relationship that has been built is more like a family. So she was on a prep team (no skills) within 3-4 months she started getting skills from a back walkover, front walkover, valdez, back handspring all within her first year and now she is in her 3rd season with Warrior on the highest level team they have (3) she is now working on level 4 skills. I know alot had to do with her coaches, and she had to put in the work. The way they believe in her and motivate her and support her no words can be described. Now her coaches are at other gyms now but that's how it goes and we have Great new coaches that have joined who provide experience and who currently are cheering and competing themselves plus our athletic director is recognized in the nation so new bonds are being built. Tina does love the kids and it's all about them to have a successful season, learning and leveling up. You won't be disappointed if you join a team or a class but if you do join a team then be prepared to have a new family because that's how they treat you.

(None of whom continue with the gym) However, management communication and organization are very poor, and billing practices are questionable. They charged my credit card on file three times without authorization, even after I raised the issue following the second occurrence. At the time, my account was already paid in full and should have never been charged again. The gym offered a credit, which I accepted at the time since I planned to use it toward an out of town competition. I did use part of the credit to cover that expense but continue with $245.50 as credit. (imagine how much I charged/stolen) After deciding to leave the gym for personal reasons, I requested a refund for the remaining balance. Which I don't believe should be an issue since it was THEIR mistake. Despite assurances from the owner that the matter would be handled, it has now been over three months with no resolution. I was removed from the team's communication group (which I get since we are no longer in the team) and my follow-up emails have gone unanswered. This review is based on my personal experience, but I also know I am not the only parent still waiting on money owed. Thankfully, my card on file was a credit card, and I will be contacting my bank to dispute the charges and filing a complaint regarding the unauthorized transactions. To new customers, keep a close eye on your account and do not allow repeated "mistakes" to slide (there's always an excuse). Most importantly, do not accept "credit" in place of a refund. Credit is not real money! out of the gym, it becomes worthless.

Not only was the birthday boy absolutely ecstatic, every single kid there couldn't get enough and all the adults loved it as well! I couldn't remember the name of our teacher but if I'm correct (based off pictures on the website) our guy was Benjamen and he was awesome! Very knowledgeable and cool with the kids and the animals. Speaking of animals-- my sister chose for Ben to bring in a Chameleon, Tegu, Bearded Dragon, Tortoise, baby Kangaroo, baby Hedgehog, and the scariest/biggest hit-- a Boa! We got to hold/touch/carry all that were possible. As "scary" as some of them were to the kiddos, the intrigue won over the fear. They were all huddled around each animal, petting them, and taking pictures! It was awesome! If you're lucky enough to have this option available around you for your kid's birthday parties-- I'd jump on it!

We moved to Mansfield this school year and my daughter started 4th grade here. We love the…read moreMansfield area and we love our sons Intermediate school but this school is aweful. I have been trying to be patient and give them time to get better but to no avail. They DO NOT communicate with the parents about anything! The Intermediate school does a great job at communicating but not Thelma Jones! The teachers I've met are rude and snobby, except the music teacher she is pretty amazing! The playground is pitiful. I'm thankful that this is the only year my daughter will go to this school!

I have 2 boys that participate in high school basketball at Grace Prep Academy. When they started 3…read moreyears ago the program only won 4 games the entire season. Year 2 with new coach Richie Alfred we not only had a winning season but went to the playoffs. This year we are undefeated in district and with a few games left we are on the verge of being undefeated in district. Richie is not only an excellent coach but an even better person and leader for my boys. I am very happy and thankful for the direction on this school as well as the athletic opportunities .
