I…read morehad a very good experience in the Athens, Ga clinic the week before so this clinic in Liverpool has a lot to live up to. We did have a rough start in the beginning. The receptionist was missing. I didn't want to appear late for my treatment so another patient suggested that I wave at the camera so I did. A tech came out and asked me how she can help me. I told her that I have an appointment and she rudely assumed I was at the wrong office. "This is a dialysis clinic!?!". I told her I was aware and was here for dialysis. She said "oh" and cowardly told me to sit in the waiting area. The receptionist finally made her way out to me and we got all my admission paperwork taken care of. For 3 treatments I sat in 3 different chairs but I consistently got the same charge nurse and tech. They were so kind! Before treatment I would weigh myself to see how much fluid I'm retaining. They allowed me to take off what I wanted which was nice. I did push myself to the limit since I would go a couple days without treatment. They monitored me closely so my blood pressure didn't drop. Not once did I feel like I was ignored or mistreated. I have heard horror stories about other facilities . Staff being awful or the center isn't clean. I have been fortunate to have had treatment here with some of the kindest staff. If you ever are traveling and you are scheduled to receive dialysis here, just know that you're in good hands! I look forward to coming back to this center if we ever travel back to Liverpool, New York.
