Updated office and equipment, friendly desk staff and hygienists. They are realistic with dental work and what needs to be done versus what can wait a little bit (keeping in mind that most dental plans require the patient to pay a good chunk of the bill out of pocket.) I no longer live in the Liverpool area, but continue to make the 25 minute commute here because I like this office so much and it's very personable, compassionate care. They are closed Friday's and half days on Wednesday's.

Dr. Romano put veneers on my bottom teeth that have slipped off several times. sometimes they broke so I'd have to pay for a new one. this happened more times than I can count. This caused me a lot of anxiety and money. Dr. Romano always seemed to hurry through my work. I just had a one veneer replaced a couple of months ago and have to have it put back on by another dentist because I have zero confidence at this point. I feel like I paid for high end cosmetic dentistry and was treated like I was an annoyance. When I requested my dental records be sent to my new dentist, all they sent were my x-rays. Wonder why.

So my two kids, wife, and I had his service from fall 2016 to early spring 2017 after in gave them my insurance info. Dr goodwin and Brenda is very nice: HOWEVER... We kept getting these bills that finally racked up to $1500 following my visit in early spring. When the bill reached to the $1500 I contacted my ins rep if anything can be done for them to cover it as in-network. They said no and if I would've found an in network dentist that 99% of service is covered 100% from fillings to exams to crowns and etc. When Brenda asked if we're gonna pay the bill following my visit, I asked her how this is racking up. She said they do not cover pompco and that their service is out of network :( My wife was the one bringing our two kids for service and when I asked Brenda if she told my wife about being out of network, she nodded her head with a yes. Now again, she's a very nice lady and the service was good but if my wife heard someone tell her my insurance is not covered she would've remembered something of this nature and told me to find another dentist, as we were struggling and in the processing of buying a home. So I think anyone hearing something like this would've stopped this service especially if it's out of network So my recommendation is if you pick Dr Goodwin make sure you ask if they are in network and service is covered. In May of this year I went to get a new partial not covered by insurance. They gave me a price and took a deposit for exactly half of that. I paid the balance they requested on the day of service. After that a new manager and staff said I owed another $1,200 but said the entire staff I dealt with had been fired and they had no notes or computer entries saying they had given me that price. It was my word against theirs. The receptionist was incredibly rude and District Manager was nice at first and then turned nasty when I asked for documentation. I have filed a complaint with the Attorney Generals office for unethical practice. After 20 years of being a patient there it was unimaginable that they would do that even though they are new owner. This place is a scam.
