I think I have found a new hospital for my family. Will return, great service with professional staff. Nurses are outstanding.

I came here for my first surgery with Dr. Lerner who is HSHS board certified and hand specialist…read moresurgeon. Everything went great. You park in the main entrance area unless you have somebody driving you and you'll check in at the gray outpatient building parking. There was plenty as we were there at 5:30 AM. My surgery started at eight so bear in mind as far as surgery times we're also known as arrival times that will depend on parking as well as any additional waiting time for the check-in process.

An example of this, was their failure to give breathing treatments due to patient not being able to hold the nebulizer to his mouth. We had to tell them that they make masks for that, then he got the treatment for this hospital acquired pneumonia. They also would not turn him. By the time he was discharaged, he had 7 decubitus/open sores on his buttock, and one was necrotic. Our family was not informed of all these open sores. No physical therapy either, they said they didn't have the staff for that care. We won't ever take any of our family there again.
