Wow! I don't even remember writing a review for St. Louis over a decade ago! This is definitely an updated review and it's a 5/5 now. This is our go to wing spot when we're craving wings. We'll even grab take out from this location if we want wings. The wings here are a decent size and always come out piping hot. The fries are good here too as they also come out piping hot and crispy. My husband loves the garlic dill dipping sauce that comes with the wings. We usually order the 2 lb meal (Cajun and lemon pepper) and share that. The manager is always around making sure everyone is enjoying their meals. On our last visit, he gave our little one a St. Patrick's day necklace since it was St. Patrick's day weekend. On Friday night we went with the family for wings as we had a coupon buy one pound and get one pound free. As we walked in there was no server who would direct us to be seated, we waited and walked around found a place for ourselves. It looked crazy but we did it. There were 3 servers serving people but none of them acknowledged us or looked at us to let us know that she is busy and will be with us shortly. Anyways we waited and she came after a while and gave us the menu and walked away. We ordered wings, cajun and honey garlic and nachos. It took forever to bring in the food. The only thing they brought on the table soon was water and beer. Finally, the wings came, cajun wings were not hot, fries were cold, honey garlic wings were good and the fries were fresh. Hate to say it, but this is everything a restaurant should not be. From service, to cleanliness, to food. My family of 5 entered the restaurant on a weekday evening. We waited to be seated but nobody came to help us. We tried to get the attention of one of the servers, but nobody noticed us. We awkwardly made our way to an open table and seated ourselves. The tables were clean but not thoroughly. My arm was sticking to the table so I used a wetnap from my purse to clean the table. A server comes about 10 minutes later to take our order. We started with nachos, honey garlic wings and cajun wings. The wings were alright. Not the best I have had but not the worst either. I liked the fries that came with it. The nachos are a HARD PASS. It was a loose definition of nachos. The nacho chips were stale, had barely any cheese on it and a poor sprinkle of veggies. On top of that, the cheese at the bottom melted onto the paper liner and had red and blue ink from the St Louis logo. We ended up wasting a good chunk because of this. Our server did not stop by our table until it was time to pay. I am most definitely not returning to this location. I had a much better experience at the downtown location. Pretty decent location and my first time coming to this one. We were seated right away and our food came fast. I went with the 1 lb of jerk chicken wings which comes with fries. I came here with a group of friends on a Friday night and we managed to get a table right before the rush hour. We all ordered the Wingsanity special. It's all you can eat wings for just $19.99 and if you wanted to order a pint of alcohol it is $6.99 (with a limited selection.) I ordered dry rub mango Cajun wings and it came with wedges. I nearly couldn't finish my order of wings. However, other people had the stomach to order more. I would say each order had about a dozen wings or more. The fries are pretty filling so maybe ask for less when you order. The mango Cajun rub was was very tasty. It had a sweet, tangy, and Smokey flavour. I think I've been to St.Louis Grill about a half dozen times, split between a couple locations. Pretty much each time I come, it's for their half-price wings on Tuesdays (make note: it's not Wing Wednesday here). I think as long as they're doing that, it's going to likely be my only experience of this chain - alongside beer. But you know what? That's okay. It was my first time to this location and they delivered as I would have hoped. The taps are always clean with this location, so the beer was nice and they also seem to offer a larger size for the price compared to most locations. Their 'large' must be bigger than a pint as their 'regular' was easily the size of a full pint and not just a sleeve. There's probably about 30 flavours for the wings, which are divided between 'dry' and 'wet'. You can also choose whether you want your wings battered or not. The wings come with a large order of steak-cut fries which are great, along with a creamy dill dipping sauce. One pound is about $15 (with the fries) and they're keeping it old school when a pound was about a dozen full-sized wings, regardless if it was actually more than a pound. It makes for great value at regular price, but fantastic value at half off (with purchase of a drink - doesn't have to be alcoholic). I had forgotten the generous portions when I ordered two pounds. No harm as the leftovers were at a good price. One pound was the Frank's Red Hot Dry wings. Fairly mild in terms of heat, but pretty tasty and a good alternative if you want a break from wet wings. The other pound was the wet kind and tasted AMAZING, which was their "Paala". 'Paala' has an Indian-sounding name to me, but apparently it's just made up of mixing their chili-lime, cajun dry rub and suicide sauce together. It might sound like a weird mishmash or overdone, but it was honestly one of the best wing sauces I had in ages. Nice and hot with terrific flavour and the citrus-y part was nice. My co-worker ordered the same and shared in my admiration. He's Guyanese-background and said they reminded him of Caribbean flavour. As enjoyable as the Frank's dry wings were, the Paala were so good I wish I'd ordered all of them that way. Note that they are quite hot, but not extreme if you have a reasonably strong spice threshold. Service was friendly and timely. So yeah, I expect to be eating Paala half-price wings again sometime soon. read more

It was not that flavourful. The fries that came with the chicken do not disappoint. If there is one item I would definitely recommend, it is the buffalo chicken wings poutine. The portions is fairly big and if you were to eat it on your own it could fill up an average size individual. With the ayce boneless chicken, it is expensive to get. You have to order a large drink and this takes your bill to over $22 + tax, when you can order an entree and appetizers for around $15 and be full. As for the service, it took us 20 mins to be seated and it felt like the waitor were taking their time to seat us (mind you, we did come on a Friday night). Overall, it is worth checking out if you have a poutine craving, but for chicekns wings... You are better off going to wild Wings or all star wings for their variety. read more

Friday service was too social but backed off as she sensed our unease. Music way too loud but server turned it way down for us. Granted St. Louis is a chain, but this is a great place for wings in the area. My co-workers and I visited this location on many occasions and service is great when it's not busy. I'm amazed at how the waitresses can remember 7+ food and drink orders! There's nothing particularly special about the food -- it tastes like other St. Louis restaurants. I find the carbonated drinks a little flat. I recall on one occasion when the power went out on the block as well as all the power in the restaurant. We received our food, so we weren't affected. The owner came around and gave everyone a voucher for a free lunch on the next visit. Now that's great customer service! read more

This location was better. This used to be a great family wing place. Its much quieter now. They closed off the seating section in the back and now its a cheers like bar in the front with maybe 20 tables, and that's being generous. The game is still on TV. Our most recent trip featured my having my wings done Buffalo style, my wife having hers with Jerk sauce, my younger daughter enjoying Mac & Cheese, and my vegatarian daughter giving everyone in the restaurant the teenage girl stare of death. The fries that came with my wings were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside - in other words - darn close to perfection. The wings were good, perhaps a 7 out of 10, but not great, but not forgettable. I really want to try the chili, but I fear that at $8 it either A) won't satisfy my hunger, or B) taste disgusting like the Chili at the Tim Hortons in Komoka. Though I've never had a bad item at this restaurant in two years of dining here. We had a nice waitress, but I'm not good a remembering names, but she gave us a few suggestions, and ran back to the kitchen to get some answers when we asked about an item that appears on their website's menu that is not on the kids menu. This is one of the smallest St. Louis locations I have been too and I am giving them 4 stars right across the board. Great food, service and atmosphere as well great views of the tvs from almost every seat in the bar make this a great place to come to watch a game or socialize with friends. Yeah it wasn't that good. Went for the all you can eat wings. Took 30 minutes for out first order to come. They won't let us order the next batch until we're done with the wings we currently have. So there's a good 15-20 minute wait between. Also, the wings weren't that good. Over cooked and not seasoned properly. They didn't even coat the wings in the sauce properly. So I have overcooked wings that are partially coated and some that are drowning in sauce. The wings are worse than Hooters. At least at Hooters, you're staring at Hooters. By far the worst service I've ever had. They had a promotion ($19.99 unlimited ribs) and the server made sure to tell us right away that there is no sharing with this promotion, before she could even greet and welcome us. That didn't matter as much until the following happened: when we ordered our third round of ribs and one of the half racks came out frozen in the Center. We brought this to the attention of the manager who also touched the ribs and agreed that it was ice cold and took it back. The server came back to ask if we'd like another rack and we said, "no after that last serving it has put us off" and instantly we got attitude about how we don't know anything - being a franchise, the food comes precooked and and they only finish it off on the grill. We went to the manager to talk to him and he basically said that "we are liars and that we should be very grateful that the restaurant accommodated our group of eight. since it seems like we're unhappy we are welcome to never come back." Edit: when ordering our ribs we were told they didn't have two of their promotional sauces since it was the last day of the promotion and they had not received a shipment for it. When talking to the area manager the next day we learned that yesterday was also not the last day for the promotion so there really was no excuse not to have the sauces. We also learned that the food does not come precooked, so we were in fact served raw food. The area manager has since apologized on behalf of the owner and has provided a compensation for the terrible experience. read more

I have to say I was so upset when the location on Aventura closed a few years ago but this one has come recently to replace it. I usually get the single order wings and fries for lunch and the food is great. Wings are well seasoned and tasty even without sauce on them and food is made to order so it's hot when you get it. The fries are thick and hot. I must say that the service can be slow at times. I would understand it if the restaurant was busy but we were one of three parties in for lunch that day and it took about 30 mins before we got our food. Only happened the one time though I must admit and I think the girl was new. Aside from that minor issue, the staff is very friendly and welcoming.
