Hmmm, probably around a 3.5, but will round up for ambiance and a great kids' menu. I enjoyed my bowl. I was trying to do more of a healthy thing and got the tuna quinoa bowl. It was quite tasty, and no complaints, but I feel like it was smaller than the last time I ordered it elsewhere over a year ago. It is quite nice in there, and they've even got a balcony and large patio. A pretty good addition for the mall. Wow! This mall is spectacular! The Ottawa area does not have anything like it. However, it is huge. REALLY huge! We had a hard time finding the restaurant! It is accessible from the outside, with, I think, one door that leads into the mall. I need more time to hang out in that mall! The restaurant was large, with a nice bright table to accommodate our party of 6. Once we sat down, the talk was endless! It was a good visit. They seated us promptly, which was easy as it wasn't that full when we got there. The menu had lots of interesting things on it, which made it easy enough to chose something. I had supper last evening at Turtle Jack's at Erin Mills Town Centre with friends. I had Chicken Parmesan (Pomodoro sauce, mozzarella, pappardelle, tomato pesto cream sauce), which was good. The garlic toast was $3 extra and not worth the cost as it was cold and hard (I wouldn't get it again). Here's are updated photos of some of the tacos offered. I like them because they are not deep fried, and flavours are light and refreshing. They are healthy menu options and ingredients are fresh. The Erin Mills location is bright and spacious. The past few times, we also visited on a Sunday for their brunch. We used to enjoy the Muskoka Benedict, but lately it has been inconsistent with overcooked eggs and hard toast. Quality has not been the same and we suggested to the manager that someone needs to do a quality check before it comes out from the kitchen. When they re-made our food, they brought it out without the sides. Not only did the cook miss this, but the server too. The server mentioned that the kitchen was busy, but that was a poor excuse. We may give brunch one more try at some point to see if there have been improvements. Otherwise, we'll stick with the tacos. Burgers here are good and juicy too. read more

Went here for some wings and found that the vibe was off. They had full lifting like a cafeteria and the prices did not reflect the ambiance. The staff were all over the place, ordering each other about. For example the hostess was telling someone else to greet us, then that person told someone else. It was chaotic. read more

So much bigger than it looks from outside! New inside Erin Mills Town Centre allows for a great dining experience while shopping. Bar, tables, TVs make it a casual place but looks like they can accommodate large groups in the back area. Menu has some good veg options and portion sizes are decent. So Turtle Jack's has decided to ditch the whole "Cottage " theme and go with a more sleek steakhouse vibe. This location is located in Erin Mills Town center near the main entrance. It's part of the whole refacing and rebranding of the mall as it was dying a slow death ( Sq1 is only 10 minutes away) . The restaurant was nice and clean and the staff friendly. I was greeted right away and sat at the bar. They have happy hour special according to the day and the selection is good. Nice assortment of beers on tap and bottles. The bar was stocked with the nicer liquors but also the well stuff too. I had a Lagunitas IPA that was nice a cold. I also had a nice Manhattan. Ahmed the bartender was cool and knows his stuff. Food was typical selection of burgers and steaks akin to a moxies or Milestones. Go for the Bison meatloaf if you have a hankering for meat. Over all, it was a good Place to have an after work drink. It will get more traction as the clientele builds. I recommend it as a good place e to go if you want something that is not a meat market and somewhere you can bring a family to. read more

The staff here are excellent. They are engaging and fun to talk too. Beer is cold and my guest says the rum and coke was good. The food is the problem for me. Ordered the deep fried pickles, calamari and 3 cheese dip. The pickles and calamari tasted ok but the oil they cook left me feeling unhappy. It's hard to describe except that I felt oily in the end. We were intrigued to try this place because it had some unique plates on the menu. This place is plain down disgusting. The food was so so. Nothing special. Catfish was overpriced and over salted. Lobster mashed potatoes are nothing special, very ordinary, would never tell the difference between those and regular mashed potatoes. They dish out the same vegetables on all plates because my wife had exactly the same set of vegetables on her plate even though she ordered something different. The waitresses and the hostess are rude and most were dressed like hookers which is strange and extremely uncomfortable and out of context for a family restaurant. When we were seated, our table was the smallest and worst in the entire restaurant. I asked for a booth. They sat us down at the table even though booths were available. This same table was rocking really hard, not just slightly but extremely shaky, to the point of tipping over entirely. If they brought drinks earlier, it would definitely spill all over. I told the waitress about it and she seemed irritated and started telling me to stick something underneath the table. I was shocked. Anywhere else they would seat you immediately at another table and apologize. They finally moved us to a table right underneath a hot lamp so I was really hot the whole time I was there. Not a fan of food or service. Overpriced food and sleazy atmosphere. Dine here again? I think not and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone else. read more

Orders get mixed up, service is slow and terrible, we had to signal our waitress several times because once our order was served, she never came back to see how everything was or if we needed anything. One friend sent her meal back twice and the manager actually fought with her that the food was correctly cooked when it was clearly raw. Manager is arrogant and rude. First of all, our table was completely ignored after being seated and no waiters offered us drinks or took our order for an entire hour! We had reservations for 7 and we weren't served until around 8:30. Food was fine but the amount of time it took to get served was unacceptable.
