The chicken wings available are what you will come to expect maybe you can even go as far as saying it is a little over average. Menu items I enjoyed sampling are the poutine as well as the chicken waffle. Location is nice though because our group of 11 people had no problem being accommodated. There are multiple screens set-up streaming sporting events, menu is varied, ambience very cozy, and the alcohol situation is great.

Double trouble, French onion soup & poutine

Been here twice, definitely a good place for socialising or watching sports with friends. I ordered the double trouble both time I came and it's been consistently good so far!! Onion soup is good to but a bit pricey for the size. Poutine is good to!!

This is probably one of the nicer and bigger locations I've been to. I decided to try the veggie tacos and I'm pretty disappointed because it was the worst tasting taco I've ever eaten in my life. Literally tasted like one of those frozen veggie burgers cut into pieces which I did not enjoy what so ever. My drink was good, I had a margarita which was the promo of the day. My date enjoyed his chicken wings and fries. As for service, it was good. We were seated right away and she checked on us twice to make sure everything was going well. I know St. Louis has good food as I've been coming here for quite some years now so I will continue to come back but I guess I'll stick to what I know tastes good.

$5.99 for 23 ounces game special

Here watching Raptors game with 7 friends on a Friday night. Specials tonight include $19.99 Wing and Rib combo at a whopping 1620 calories plus a $5.99 Devil's Sized Pint every game night (23 ounce Coors or Canadian for another 200 calories). The place was very busy and noisy but I finally flagged down our server and settled in for the action on several TV screens. The meal was delicious! No cutlery...had to get up and ask another server. Service was extremely slow and the table wasn't cleared of our plates or glasses after our meal...not good! We asked 3 different servers to clear our table over a 30 minute period...and finally...a partial clearing! What began as a 4 star rating dropped to a 1 star experience when all was done.

Came here with my boyfriend for a casual dinner. I had to St. Louis jolly rancher drink which consists of 1.5oz of alcohol, vodka, melon liquor, blue curaçao, cranberry juice and margarita mix. It was delicious and tasted just like a refreshing watermelon. Food wise we had poutine, jalapeño poppers and buffalo flavoured wings. The wings had good heat and flavour. The size of the wings themselves are on the smaller size but you receive a decent amount of them for the price. The service was lacking even though it wasn't very busy but the free wifi helped that. They do have several tv's so it's a great place to watch sports. Very casual atmosphere. The poutine was decent. Not great but not bad either. I do not recommend The jalapeño poppers as i prefer the ones with cream cheese inside instead of a marinara type sauce that lacked flavour. I'd give this place another shot but not for awhile.

The new location has two levels, a beautiful open concept floor plan and a large outdoor patio. We walked in on Saturday (World Series Game 2) and were seated immediately. They had another weekly event going on but that didn't detract from speed and service. The beers are fantastic, with some staples still on the menu from 2013! The Eephus, Wrigley, and Greenwood are original and exactly as I remember, but Ice Cold Beer, Tarps Off, and Oppo were delicious too! Gord and I had Pep & Cheese pizzas (10" New York style pizza, pizza sauce, Ezzo pepperoni, mozzarella, oregano and Grana Padano cheese) and we both took half of our pizzas home for lunch tomorrow. Rosemary had Mac and Cheese (creamy mac and cheese made with our beer and cheddar sauce, topped with melted cheese, shaved scallions) and Chicken Tenders - Kids Combo (3 kid-sized buttermilk marinated, panko-breaded chicken tenders; served with thick cut french fries, plum sauce and ketchup) ... the mac and cheese looked delish and she took half home but the chicken tenders were overcooked. Kevin had a Chicken Clubhouse Sandwich and fries (classic clubhouse sandwich served on 3 pieces of toasted white bread, stacked with grilled chicken breast, shredded lettuce, tomato, Swiss cheese, bacon, guacamole and chipotle aioli spread). Alfred had a Margherita pizza (10" New York style pizza, pizza sauce, fresh mozzarella, fresh basil and Grana Padano cheese). Christine had a Chicken Caesar Wrap (grilled chicken breast, romaine, parmesan, caesar dressing, wrapped in a 12" flour tortilla) and took half home. Ocean was our server. She was friendly and took good care of us. For some reason, the 3 pizzas came out about 15 minutes after the other meals so they were almost finished by the time we started.

On a Sunday evening, it was quiet and intimate. Our server, whose name I did not learn, was excellent: kind and willing to make recommendations. Union Social has an excellent menu, with lots of diversity to cater to all palates, but not so many items as to be overwhelming for either staff or customers. We started off with cocktails, and my son's Citrus Mule -served according to tradition, in a copper mug - was so tasty. I enjoyed my Smoky Apple Old Fashion so much. It is worth coming here for a cocktail alone. Now, on to the mains (we skipped the appetizers, but the shrimp tacos did look tempting). I explained to our server that I was torn between the Smokehouse Beef Burger (which I regretted not ordering on a previous visit) and the Spaghetti Positano, a seafood pasta finished with lemon-herb breadcrumbs. She enthusiastically and energetically recommended the pasta (I love it when they actually give a recommendation, as opposed to, "Well, it depends what you want"). I was not disappointed! The seafood spaghetti was terrific! Surprisingly, the breadcrumbs more than compensated for a sprinkling of parmesan. I savoured the leftovers the next day, and I'm still thinking about it. The other diners, who ordered Cobb Salad, the Chicken Sandwich Special, and the Tuna Bow, were similarly satisfied. Apparently, the Steak Frites and the Fish and Chips were outstanding, as was my Pasta Positano (especially for garlic lovers!). A few other diners ordered dessert: they each had creme brulee, smoking hot from being freshly torched. The surface featured that perfectly glossy, lightly burned sugar, which always reminds me of a caramel-colored skating rink. The dessert was, according to my daughter, who is a connoisseur of creme brulee, was perfectly done. To finish off, my son (don't worry, he's an adult) had an espresso martini. I had a sip, and I can totally vouch for it being so divine! We had a very satisfying meal, and I'd only wish that I knew my server's name so that I could acknowledge how excellent she was. I'll be back. I keep planning for the burger, but right now, I could sure go for another helping of Spaghetti Positano!

We dined on a Saturday afternoon, so business was on the slower side. At first the service was great, however after we were sat the staff seemed to neglect us. Our server was very disorganized, letting us know he'd grab something for us but go and do 4 other things like grabbing drinks/plates for others and then forgetting about us. He touched 4 other tables and chatted with customers in between dropping off the bill and grabbing the moneris machine for us...now the food was fine however portions are very small and it was very expensive. If I were in the area again I wouldn't recommend coming back.

The place was absolutely packed and they did have a $30 minimum spend because of the game. Totally fair by the way considering how busy it gets. There were TVs everywhere, everyone was cheering, and the energy in the room was so much fun. If you're looking for somewhere to watch a big game with a crowd, I'd definitely recommend this spot. The service was good too. Our server was really nice and you could tell she was running around trying to help everyone because the restaurant was completely full. Even though it was busy, she still checked in on us when he could and made sure we had everything we needed. For food, we started with the spinach dip. I'd probably give it an 8/10. It was creamy, cheesy, and came out nice and hot with plenty for everyone to share. Definitely one of my favourite things we ordered. We also got the wings and ribs combo. One thing I'll say is their wing menu is HUGE. There were honestly so many flavours that it was almost overwhelming trying to decide. We ended up going with the Hot Honey Garlic wings, and I'd give them a 7.5/10. They were crispy and the sauce had a nice balance of sweet and spicy. The ribs were probably around a 5.5/10 for me. They weren't bad, but they didn't really stand out and I liked the wings a lot more. Overall, the food was decent, but it wasn't really anything I'd go out of my way for. That being said, the atmosphere completely makes up for it. Watching the game there with a packed crowd was so much fun, and that's really what this place is all about.
