There are a few locations. This one is at the north end of Eaton's Centre. It is a large pub, serving a large variety of bar food. There are a typical dining area and a large square bar with counter seating, and several large TV screens around the bar. We ordered the following: 1. Szechuan Chicken Lettuce Wrap ($24.50). It has chicken, wok vegetables, peanuts, crispy noodles, hoisen oyster sauce, and cilantro. 2. Calamari Frites. It has calamari, tempura vegetables and spicy aioli. 3. Steak Frites ($34.75). There is a 6 oz steak, parsley butter, rocket greens, and fries. 4. Baja Fish Tacos ($21.50). It consists of two tacos with lightly breaded shrimp & cod, white corn tortilla, guacamole, and valentina's. 5. Steak & Sushi ($37.00). It has Tataki-style steak, pozu sauce, and seared salmon sushi. 6. Individually Baked Apple Pie ($13.50). Hand-folded pastry, toasted almonds, Canadian maple syrup ice cream. All the food were quite tasty. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible. There is paid neighbourhood street parking and a paid parking garage. Review 2025-268

Feels like it's been ages since I visited this location. Its prolly got one of the nicest locations in the city (right in the heart of downtown near Yonge and Dundas Square) Recently, my boss took me and another colleague here for a work lunch as a treat. Ordered the blackened chicken and it was quite good! The chicken was moist, the kale was dressed properly and the warm potato salad underneath was really tasty (the potatoes had crispy exterior like fries). Service was very attentive and it was a simple no frills type of lunch. I feel like JOEY's is one of those restos where there's something for everyone in terms of the menu. Very standard fare.

Overall: A // 5 stars Stopped by for a single drink with some friends where I got the Kalamansi Lychee Cooler, a fruit-forward cocktail on the Low-Alc section of the menu. Their cocktails are very fairly priced in my opinion, and I enjoyed the varied tropical notes coming through from the cocktail, from the lime leaf aroma to the distinct calamansi taste of the drink. The staff are kind and attentive, keeping separate tabs for each person without asking, and their menu is interesting enough where I would want to return. Our first night in Toronto started with dinner at Joey Restaurant. With no reservations, our party of 4 was seated in less than 10mins. The place is modernly decorated and the vibe is chic. The food came out fast and tasting good. I recommend the ceviche to start. The other dishes were good,,, nothing wow. Our server was pleasant and attentive. Sure I will be back!

came here 2nd time. this time it was for corporate event. there were total 8 of us. we were all prepared (hungry). this place have great customer service and ambiance. everyone ordered different food, but I got to try: 1. cauliflower (cooked with korean sauce) it tastes great! but not sure if it's something i can eat a lot (bc the sauce is quite strong). others commented that the sauce could be lighter. 2. hot wings (i think thats the name) sour. nobody's favorite. 3. cod curry rice love it! curry sauce is perfect. it has balanced flavor. the dish also has nice crispiness (i think its rice crispy?)- making it crunchy texture. it comes with rice and snow peas. the snow peas do not pair well with the overall dish. it has 'raw' taste - better if it's cooked thoroughly. 4.lobster pasta soooo good! i was tempted to have 2nd lunch. but my tummy capacity is limited. lol overall, enjoy our lunch regardless of the few-minor-favorites.

I always get the grilled chicken club with either the sweet potato fries or the cobb salad. Both options delicious

It was really busy during lunch time on a weekday. Service was good and quick though. I got the shrimp ravioli and portions were huge. I had leftovers for dinner. The truffle fries and hummus dip were both really good and great for sharing.

The staff here is excellent. From the host to the servers, the staff is very attentive. They make you feel like you are eating at a very high end restaurant (despite it being a Thursday lunch time). I was instantly impressed, and stayed impressed during my dining experience there. The food was OK to me however. Tacos were good, but the fries lacked some flavor. Despite all of this, the menu was vast and had many items to choose from. I think it is a great place to bring a small or large party, because there is a lot of seating for guests and items to order.

I had a late lunch today with my pal, Kelly, at JOEY Eaton Centre. I ordered what I always get there ... Chicken Parmesan (spaghetti pomodoro, mozzarella cheese, fresh basil). I got garlic bread with it this time ... it was okay but I wouldn't get it again. Kelly ordered Baka Fish Tacos (2 tacos, shrimp + cod, guacamole, valentinas and fries). She said it was good. Tristan was our server ... he was friendly and took good care of us.

September 27/2023: Birthday lunch with the Al. The restaurant was gracious enough to seat us immediately as we had a limited timeline. This was an awesome meal! The service was great. Our server (Annie M.) was very polite, efficient & got everything right the first time around. As for the food...fantastic. Blackened Chicken with warm potato salad ($30.00) combined with coleslaw. Just an absolutely superb meal & very filling. I've been to Joeys before but not this location. As a very nice addition...our server comped my Al a Baileys shot, great acknowledgment of our small occasion! Solid meal...definite do-over!

We enjoyed our first dinner in Toronto at JOEY Eaton Centre! We had the Spicy Szechuan Chicken lettuce wrap and the steak frites, both were delicious. The steak was excellent, perfectly cooked and delicious. There were a lot of lettuce for the wrap, since stuffing for the wrap was a little too salty to our taste, we used double wrap and it was perfect. The restaurant has a good vibe with contemporary music in the background. The waitress was friendly and helpful. Location tip: conveniently OUTSIDE the Eaton Centre (no mall access and we went up and down and finally found it outside!) right by the Yonge-Dundas Sq.

This place offers an array of entrees ranging from sushi, steak, pasta, burgers, Mediterranean and more. It's a bit on the pricier side with every dish being at least $26, and portions can be on the smaller side. I tried the Mediterranean bowl and the poke bowl -- both were very flavorful!! Service was very friendly and the ambiance was bustling.

Forreal though, the run Soho House had can only be rivaled by 2011-2015 Whole Foods. You really had to be there... but like any other prime, Father Time always catches up. I was set to do a full rise and fall piece on the Soho House right here on Yelp but in my research, I stumbled upon an article by Lydia Moynihan in the NY Post and she nailed it. I really didn't have much to add so go over and read that if you have a sec. Shoutout to Lydia. Instead, I'll just recap our experience here like any other boring Yelp Review. We came to this Toronto location before the Taylor Swift concert, and I was pleasantly surprised. It felt like prime Soho House. A beautiful, discrete brick building with an old school interior. Whoever designed this one needs a raise. I'm so tired of the cookie cutter half-assed modern architecture. The ones in LA and NY now feel like it is just a bunch of dorks trying to be seen by God knows who. There is no soul in those locations. We grabbed a drink in the lobby and went upstairs for our 5pm dinner. I domed a couple of negronis and we split a margherita pizza and a bottle of pinot noir before our mains arrived. I got the rigatoni, per the waitresses recommendation because she had a thick Italian accent. Big truss. She wasn't lying either, that rigatoni went crazy. I took like 30 pictures before a staff member came over and said no pictures, as I didn't know that was still a rule here... please don't beat me up. We closed dinner with a couple espresso martinis before setting off on foot to go see Big Tay put on a show. She really did her thing. Thank you Soho House Toronto, for giving me a taste of what the Soho House used to be in the states. IG @jnov_ Tiktok @jnov_reviews

The place SEEMED quiet but shortly thereafter the place got JAMMED! Initially it was slow service but it picked up shortly. We had several different servers so no single server is tagged here. I will say that it's a hip, nicely equipped restaurant. We decided to do an appie meal. We ordered Sichuan Chicken lettuce wraps ($25.50)..this was the best of the appies. The next was the Crab Dip ($20.75), it was hot but not overly tasty. 3rd was the Hot Chicken Bites with pickles ($16.00). They were ok but not hot in temp enough. The final was the Chili Citrus Calamari ($21.25). This was the worse of the dishes. Simply put, it was cold. The server removed this from our bill.
