We are patient and help build a student's confidence every session. The Mathnasium program builds confidence and a solid foundation in mathematics. We focus on number sense and problem solving skills. Each child is given a math skills assessment. The assessment will identify any gaps and root cause why a student is having trouble with math. Your child's lesson plan is individualized to their ability. We focus on the math skills they need help with, not what they already know. The lessons are completed in the center, so there is never Mathnasium home work that requires your help. The lessons are delivered one on one with an instructor. Our students typically attend the center 2-3 times per week for about an hour each time. We also help with math homework assigned in school and test preparation.

She did not weigh in on the weekly discussions publicly but she did leave some comments for each person. The assignments were a combination of computer graded tests and quizzes with a few personal writing assignments. It was a pleasant class and I'm glad I took it. The administrative staff at Wildwood is extremely accommodating and nice to deal with. I wouldn't hesitate to return if need be and I would highly recommend this campus over other larger ones like Forest Park.

After finishing a bachelor's degree, I worked for a year then decided to pursue a master's degree in a different field. I needed to take about 6 pre-requisite courses and chose this campus because of its close proximity to my home, low cost, and offering of all required classes I needed. I have to say, the education I received here was top notch, with some classes even higher quality than those at my top 20 undergraduate university. From the moment I walked through the door to register for classes, everyone was so kind, warm, welcoming, and clearly rooting for me to succeed. My instructors were passionate and skilled in their various subjects, and it was clear that they truly took an interest in the learning experiences of their students. This campus has a library with free tutoring services, a snack shop that also sells fair trade items from around the world, students' artwork hanging all around the building, and (perhaps best of all) free parking. The building is very nice with well-equipped classrooms. I made it to graduate school with no problem and all my credits easily transferred. If you're looking for a high quality, affordable, all around solid education, STLCC-Wildwood is an excellent option!

Most other private schools have them daily. Then for the little things. 5. You are required to attend all meals. A teacher will check you in, because you are a five-year-old who cannot regular their eating habits by themselves. 6. If you receive enough demerits, you will be forced to work hours on Saturday morning. What? Child labor is illegal. Not if you're a private school. 7. The school bus can be up to two hour late on field trips. And much more!

I am the lead teacher for the clubhouse, and I provide a fun, engaging, educational environment for my school agers to learn and grow. I enjoy having a child-centered classroom, where the children are able to choose the activities they want to engage in. I provide the students with activities including air dry clay, perler beads, rubber bands, and playing the Wii on days off. After school the students work on homework and reading. If I am not available to help them, Alex does an awesome job working with the students to help them finish their homework. During days off, I work on planning engaging short lessons that focus on Kindness. The month of November we are taking part of the You Matter Marathon. We provide a educational spring break and summer camp and travel around to different areas of St. Louis for field trips.
