Upon graduation I also received no support but am only contacted directly through email only to try to get me to donate money to them. Which is kind of a slap in the face based off of my experiences there. I hope they get better, but I fear they will not. If you are LGBTQ+, look elsewhere, even if they promise you scholarship after scholarship.

The curriculum is minimally taught, and the tests poorly correspond with the lectures that are given. If you have any issues with your classes, the program admins will absolutely NOT help you, leading to repeated courses, delays, and failures that should not have been. They do not work with their students, even when instructions are poorly conveyed. They never take circumstances into account if problems arise, and only want their students to be herded through without issues. If you make problems you will get slammed and left behind. Professors and admins take forever to respond, even when urgent responses are needed. You have to arrange your practicum, which they make a horrible ordeal with the amount of paperwork they require and the snail's pace that information is returned. One time I submitted paperwork to have a preceptor, and did not hear back for 3 MONTHS. I felt like professors wanted little to do with their students, only talking to them when necessary for specific assignments. There are so few good things I would say about this school, and so many things that left a bitter taste.

This is more of an informative review than anything else, people ask me about Tyson all the time…read more Its a 2,000 acre research station located outside STL off I-44 and owned by Washington University. I have a research studio here, so I go here on a regular basis for the last 15 years. It is NOT open to the public and some very serious research in the plant and animal sciences happen here not only by WU researchers, but faculty from all over the county come here, especially in the summer. The Wild Canid Research Center is also located at Tyson and it is not part of WU but leases space from the University, they often have programs for the public but generally, they are by prior arrangement.
