I have gone to this place for over 15 years........never once had this happen to me.....worst part is.......the receptionist cut me off as I was trying to explain my reason for needing an appt. all he heard was refill.........then began spouting off about how that is not what a walkin appt was for. The other reason is quite personal and I will not say what it was, but I can assure you if he had given me the opportunity to finish my sentence he would not have denied me that chance to see the doctor. I understand that they were busy, booked with apps and lots of flu victims in the waiting room........if that is the case......why advertise being a walkin/urgent care center? I never felt like she was rushing me to get to the next patient, and as others have mentioned, she helped me find the best non-Rx meds to use to get well, plus prescribing an antibiotic Rx. Very pleased to see that Minute Clinic offers appointments, as fewer urgent care places do these days.
