PE 4 days a week. My 8 year old is picking up books and reading for fun. The school culture is radical generosity, appreciating each individual child for their gifts. It's not elitist at all - a stellar education made possible for working class families. In my daughter's time there, she hasn't mentioned bullying or teasing once. St Mary's = happy, loving, well-educated kids.

Our students who go on to college have a 95% graduation rate. Students are encouraged to grow in their faith and relationship with God, and practice what it means to live like Christ. Through charity work and experiences, students grow in awareness of our diverse society and learn to respect the environment while working for peace and justice for all people.

All faculty is great at communication via phone, text, email, social media and private individual class pages. The teachers are wonderful and great with the kids. Mrs. Demata and Mrs. Miller have so much patience, are kind and are compassionate with the children and give the children the time and attention that they need. Small class size, rigorous curriculum, foreign language options, extra ciricular activities/clubs are all bonuses. At LAM, the parents are great at welcoming the new families and LAM is a place where friendships are made. We love this Christian School and know LAM is the best choice for our family.

She sustained a concussion and has since experienced trauma-related symptoms. While we hoped for concern and a collaborative path toward resolution, the school leadership instead chose to expel all three of our children after we asked for answers and safety improvements. This happened without warning, without a clear explanation, and without allowing our children to say goodbye to friends or participate in school events they had prepared for. We are heartbroken by how the situation was handled--not just the incident itself, but the school's response. We believe families deserve to know how serious matters are addressed when concerns are raised. Our experience may not reflect everyone's, but it was deeply impactful for our family. We share this review in the hope that it brings awareness and prompts reflection for others considering the school.
