The curriculum is more advanced than our experience at CMS, and our kids are encouraged to challenge themselves while being fully supported. They actually enjoy going to school, which says a lot. When our son needed help with reading, he received in-school and after-school tutoring at no cost. Teachers are communicative, with weekly check-ins and extra updates. Every teacher we've had has gone above and beyond. The admin team is engaged and present at drop off and pick up daily. BCCA goes beyond academics with events that build confidence, character, and community. We're so grateful to be part of this diverse, supportive school. Highly recommend.

If I could rate less than one star I would. respect is promised but not delivered and under no circumstances have I ever seen a student be truly happy at the establishment. Students are almost unanimous about their disgust for the teacher "Mrs.Balogh". Firing her would be a large step forward in correcting the total mess that is Lake Norman Charter School.
