I can't say enough great things about this wonderful school. My child has grown is more ways than I can count and is always sad to leave school at the end of the day. This school is filled with Godly love from each individual working and volunteering there. Every teacher, teacher's assistant, and administrator loves my child as if they were their own. As a mother nothing is more comforting than knowing that my child is surrounded by love and learning so much both academically and spiritually. I'm sorry to hear that the above individual is not pleased with certain administrators at this school. I am unaware of who the person is (being that I'm a highly involved parent and don't know of another parents name to be shel) but the director, Mrs. Little, loves the children, her staff, and the school more than anyone else. She takes her own time on the weekends, holidays, etc. to find ways to improve the school. I truly could never imagine Mrs. Little raising her voice, especially to a staff member. Surely, the above parent has confusion. I would HIGHLY recommend this school to any and all parents and families looking for a home away from that helps their child excel spiritually and academically. This school is a perfect example of God's love and I'm incredibly blessed to have my child be apart of a school family that she adores. Best preschool in the area! Over the years, we have tried several preschools in the area. We have left other schools due to too many students per teacher ratio and quality of care and education they receive. The teachers here are excellent - they genuinely love children and focus heavily on academic and spiritual development while making it fun for the kids. It is a small school, but there is a huge variety of activities, events, and resources to help kids play and learn. The grounds and classrooms are immaculate, there are 2 teachers to about 10 or so kids and the before and after school care hours are great. I have seen my son thrive so much socially and academically. He used to hate going to school-now he is disappointed to miss seeing his teacher and friends or doing the fun activity for the day. He began the year being able to recognize only some of his letters. Now he is able to read sight words, knows phonics and has amazing handwriting. I cannot say enough good things about this place!!! When compared to other schools in the area, it is a bit pricier but you are reaping all of the benefits when you see how much it does for your kid compared to other schools. We could not be more pleased with St. Mark's Episcopal School. Our children have developed so much during this school year, academically, emotionally, and spiritually. The teachers, aides, and staff are very nurturing and create a very positive and loving environment for our kids. The breadth of academic learning is spectacular. Our soon-to-be kindergartener is well-prepared, with much thanks to the Pre-K teachers. We are so thankful that she not only has advanced in early literacy and math skills, but she has learned about such things as the environment, Texas history, and has had an opportunity to participate in an outdoor school garden throughout the year. The Spanish program is second to none, as the curriculum vertically aligns from the two-year-old class up to the pre-K level. Our children have also loved learning American Sign Language! A true highlight for our family is the Chapel program, along with the Godly Play curriculum. Our children have been taught Christian values and have been encouraged to be loving and kind. We are quite proud to be parents of St. Mark's Episcopal School and highly recommend this preschool to anyone in the area! read more

Where do I begin? What don't I love? Being a teacher, I can honestly say that they are starting the kids off with great foundations. The best part is that they believe children learn through playing, so my child plants a garden to learn the life cycle of a plant, not color one. When you walk through the doors you feel the love. I know when I leave my child, she is with people that also love her. This school has preserved her innocence and protected her childhood for a few more years. I have friends that can not say the same about where they have taken their children. My child has been at St. Mark's since it opened, and I still love it so much that I tear up when I tell people about it, and others there feel the exact same way. Only a parent could understand how special and rare that is. Do your child a favor and enroll them!! read more

The teachers and staff are super stars at St. Mark's! This is the school's first year open and my child's first year of preschool. From the beginning my child's teacher, as well as the other teachers, have made the transition of my child being away from me, and me away from my child, a happy and smooth one. They exude warmth and caring, and I know my child will always be safe with them. The Director, on the other hand, is completely unprofessional. She seems very unorganized, scattered, and I've witnessed her raise her voice to employees in the school on several occasions. Thank goodness the teachers' ability to do a great job academically, as well as providing a safe and nurturing environment, far outweigh the Director's lack of professionalism. Otherwise, my child would no longer attend the school. read more

St. Mark's has been a wonderful haven for my child, who over the last 3 years, has blossomed in their care. I have not had a single issue with them and consider them family. My kid is happy to go to school and lights up when she enters her class. The staff is always happy to see her. The school has done a great job with the philosophy "learn through play." They also did a wonderful job nurturing the spiritual side of my kiddo. They have helped bring her closer to God. I beg my friends to go visit this place. There is not another school like it. There is low student-teacher ratios, phenomenal teachers, and a clean, loving environment. Do your kid a favor, enroll them ASAP! read more

St. Mark's Episcopal School is where your child needs to be. Our daughter has attended this school for 4 years. She will now move on to public school and I wished she could continue there. Her spiritual development is equal to and just as important to her educational development. This school is so exceptional that our problem now that she is going into public school is that she is far more advanced than her peers. With that said, she will most likely test out of Kindergarten, so that she can advance to 1st grade. This school has been a blessing to our family and I would recommend them to anyone looking for more than just a daycare center. read more

During her transition into the school, the staff kept me informed of how she was progressing and they were so patient with her.
