Tyler started there in 2018, and when Adeline joined in 2021--at just three months old--we already knew she would be in the best hands. What makes The Kensington School truly exceptional is that it's family-owned, and you can feel that sense of warmth, stability, and personal investment in everything they do. The consistent community of long-term students and educators has meant the world to us. Every classroom feels like an extension of home, filled with educators who are dedicated, nurturing, and truly passionate about what they do. The Montessori-based curriculum has helped both our children grow into curious, confident, and independent learners. We've watched them flourish academically, socially, and emotionally thanks to the thoughtful structure and caring environment. We can't recommend The Kensington School highly enough. It has been one of the best decisions we've made for our family.

She is about to…read moreenter kindergarten, and we truly believe her experience at Kensington has taught her so much intellectually as well as emotionally. We're excited for her next steps equipped with all she's learned in her first school, but also so nostalgic about leaving a place that has truly embraced her and our family. The Kensington School's staff is all exceptional, from the front desk to the teachers, to the directors who office at the front of the school so know all the happenings of the day. The school keeps parents engaged in updates and events, and fosters an environment of curiosity and independence. For most parents, choosing where your child spends impressionable years of their life can be a daunting task, but The Kensington School has been nothing but amazing for our child's learning journey. The directors of the school are so invested in our daughter's future, that they are always keen to share learnings, advice and thoughtful recommendations when asked. We highly recommend The Kensington School!

Only good to say about this place besides the pretty building and set up…read more Everything sounds and looks good until you enroll and really see this place cares about nothing but a check Kids watch the iPad all day Most of the ppl caring for the kids are rough and have no interest to make children feel Comfortable I saw through the cameras many times the children were treated roughly by the teachers and made to sit down for hours at a time not allowed to play made to lay down as soon as they didn't sit properly while eating were not allowed to finish their food My daughter was 2 when she attended for about a month and would cry and not want to stay here it was a struggle to drop her off that is when I watched the camera the entire day and saw how the children were treated Spoke to the manager multiple times and nothing ever changed finally took off work so my daughter would no longer have to come here Leaving this place was the best decision !

This is the second time I've had an issue with negligence at this daycare. The owner refuses to…read moretake responsibility and always makes excuses when something goes wrong. When my daughter was left crying in her crib for over an hour, he told me I was "overreacting." Now, after the video of my daughter being dragged by the arm has circulated, he acknowledges it was wrong but continues to minimize it like it wasn't that bad. If he had handled these situations with care, this review would not be necessary. Because of his behavior, I no longer feel my child is safe there. To him, nothing ever seems to be "that serious." Parents used to be able to review camera footage when incidents happened. But since the video surfaced, the owner conveniently claims the footage is unavailable, saying, "Sometimes we have the footage, and sometimes we don't." Yet I've heard a completely different explanation from the director. The directors have always been honest with me, but the owner constantly changes the story and downplays what actually happens. My daughter's feet literally left the ground TWICE, both feet at once, from being pulled around by her arm. The person who recorded my daughter's incident also witnessed other children being mishandled before she started filming, something every parent deserves to know. I regret allowing my daughter to stay after the first incident because I didn't want to take her away from her friends, but I can't ignore these ongoing issues any longer. I immediately went to another daycare today to enroll my daughter, and it was heartbreaking to see how the entire staff had already seen the video. They were all shocked when they realized I was the mother of the child in this video. Please be warned

This continued instability is negatively affecting the children, particularly during outdoor playtime where proper supervision, interaction, and engagement appear to be lacking. Based on these ongoing concerns, I would not recommend this daycare to any family seeking a safe, stable, and nurturing environment for their children.
