So I went in here hoping that someone had donated an old plastic ice cube tray and that I'd be able to buy it for under a dollar. It is a big charity store on Sydney Road with a lot of stuff and I was right there were a couple of old ice cube trays. While I was in the store I had a look around to see if I could spot some treasure in the bits under the counter. However, the ambition to recognize some under priced object by a famous designer was far less likely than finding an old plastic ice cube tray. You never know what you might find but chances are someone would have spotted it already. Quick look at the second hand books just in case there is something good there. Mostly there are second hand clothes and furniture here.

St Vincent de Paul in Sumner Park offer a lot of second hand goods to fill a wardrobe as well as a home. Not only do they have a wide selection of womens, mens and childrens clothings, which are all in reasonable condition they also have homewares. The homewares here include an array of kitchen utensils, pots and pans, cupboards, tables and chairs, sofa's and even some beds and bedding. I have bought a few trinkets from here to decorate the house with. I love collecting old books and unique figurines. The staff who work unpaid for charity are clearly passionate about what they are doing. You can see in their kindness and service. I recommend coming every two weeks to check on anything new that's been donated. Also, feel free to get in contact with them to donate any pre-loved items.

An old Victorian house has been remodelled and converted into a daycare centre comprising of 5 different child care groups, Kinder, Pre-Kinder, Toddler 1, Toddler 2 and the Nursery. I have had two children in this centre, my oldest boy started there as a Pre-Kinder child and continued on until he graduated Kinder and went off to Prep, my youngest is currently in the Nursery area and although we will be shortly taking him out of the centre due to unseen circumstances, he will be back for the Kinder program when he is old enough. I can honestly say we were blessed to be able to find such a wonderful childcare centre for both of our boys. They have been more than welcoming and comforting when it has been time to leave the children in their care. I'm looking forward to my little one returning to the Kinder program.

This place was the place I went to when I needed keys cut, full stop, for a very long time. The service is good, the guys who work there are pleasant and easy to deal with, and they're quick at their work. They'll usually give you a pretty decent range of choices for keys if that's what you're there for. They sell a lot of the usual key-cutting shop stuff. Belt buckles, lighters, that sort of thing. I usually put in the key I'm getting cut, do a bit of shopping, grab a coffee, and then pick up my keys. Never had a problem, with dozens of keys cut there before.
