I love that Christ is taught daily in Bible class and that the school is board run, not church run. The school welcomes all denominations which fosters a wonderful environment of love and understanding amongst the student body and teaching staff. Everyone is so friendly and helpful and they really care about the spiritual growth of their students. Next year our daughter will be graduating but I know that we will be supporting Cumberland Christian for years to come.

It is not a hygienic place for kids, or anyone to that matter. They yell at the kids when they sit down... During summer camp they are forced to stay outside all day including when the sun is beating down on them. They are not allowed in or allowed to sit down in the shade. The organization needs to be completely changed and possibly new management. They also fire you if you don't "discipline" the kids (yelling, getting in trouble for touching a toy, allowing them to sit to rest, letting them get a drink of water). Unbelievable. I was younger then and I kind of swept it under the rug but as of recently I saw a pattern in a couple of their ex-employees (which are basically kids). They were fired for not "disciplining" the kids. Long story short, I know Bybels has been around for a long time and pretty involved with the community, but just be cautious sending your kids here.

my daughter has been sexually molested in this school and bullied. when she tells people the…read moreteachers yell at her. all the teachers in this school have bullied, yelled at, called my child a lier to her face and blame her for things she hasn't done. there have been little challenges for the kids like an "attendance challenge" where the kids had to go to school with perfect attendance for this time periods,. my daughter won, they tore her name up in front the whole classroom and never gave her her prize but gave the other kids rhere prizes in front of her! they alienated my daughter to the point where she comes home depressed and goes straight to sleep till. the next day! she cries in the morning after sleeping for like 14 hours that she doesn't want to go back to this school!!!! tbey cover up tbings and hide things from the parents!
