I came in from San Clemente, California, Even though I was in pain from something that bit me on my hand here in Texas and my hand was swollen, I left with my heart so full. From the moment we walked in, I felt the love of this church. The music was uplifting, the worship was powerful, and the people were so warm and friendly. I even had the chance to meet Kara, who serves in communications. She was so kind, welcoming, and took the time to talk with us about the church. It really meant a lot. What impressed me most was how family-oriented The Grove is. There's a wonderful kids section for the little ones, programs for the older kids, and such a thoughtful setup with food, breakfast, and lunch. Both the indoor and outdoor services were beautiful and inviting. My kids have been attending The Grove for about three months now since moving to Austin six months ago, and I can see why they love it so much. I even told my other son that when he makes the move to Texas, he will have to join The Grove too! This church is truly special--a place of worship, community, and joy. I'm so grateful I was able to experience it.

Austin Stone Children's Ministry. My kid was maltreated…read more I was not notified till 3+ hours later. We met to discuss the situation. They said they were sorry and that they had made a mistake. I asked The Stone to notify parents of protocols in their newsletter, address the congregation, or pull children from their classes to join full group and address them. They said no. I received an email which states they have begun the discussion internally about communicating with their volunteer teams, and parents to remind them of their high value of safety, and the importance of quick and candid feedback with the respective parents and church leaders involved in situations that warrant such a response. I am informing you so this hopefully never happens to a child or families again. My kid took this on herself because they lacked the decency to inform me. If you'd like more information, ask Austin Stone why they're not talking to all of you...you have a right to know.
