Just awful place and i normal let kids be kids but I have been told by several kids from the center that the three year old teacher (Cortney) is amazing and they love her. Then I hear that there are kids pooping on the playgrounds and the teachers got yelled at for it all because they waere trying to get everything cleaned up but once again Beth the director didn't want to help clean or watch the kids so they can clean it up. I feel for all the teachers there. They should have to put up with all that. The simple fact is Beth needs to be fired and this review probably would have been a 5 star and nothing but praises. My daughter attended from 2018 through 2021 before starting Kindergarten, and I truly believe the curriculum at The Rock Pre-K played a huge role in setting the foundation for her success, especially in reading. She entered school already ahead for her age/grade, and I credit so much of that to the structure, learning approach, and care she received here. Now my son has been attending and will continue through this summer before he heads off to Kindergarten, and we've had the same incredible experience. The consistency in quality, care, and education over the years really speaks volumes. The teachers are absolutely wonderful.. caring, supportive, and genuinely invested in the kids. You can tell they love what they do. The Christian-based environment is also something we truly value as a family and has been such a positive influence on our children. There is NO structure, NO disciplin, NO teaching, NO direction. Breakfast of toast and frozen strawberries was served on KLEENEX with no silverware and no milk or juice which is against KDHE guideline. Lunch was half a hamburger and veggies, served on paper towels with no silverware again served with no milk. The kids were brought in from outside (where they were playing with no socks, no shoes in rock) no hands were washed before lunch was served, it even the teachers. It was just an awful experience.
