The lady working answered all the questions we had and she was attentive while we chose and painted our pieces. The music playing was soothing and helped us concentrate and overall gave a comfortable and focused atmosphere. If you know going in that the cost for adults is $8 and kids is $6, PLUS whatever piece you choose to paint, then there shouldn't be a shock for you that it's "too expensive". Honestly, the value is understandable and worth it. Once you're done with your work, they'll fire your piece in the kiln and it will take 7-10 days. The waiting period might be a little long imo but it is what it is.

Once I found the shop inside the mall, it was closed (sad day). It was going to be an hour before it opened, but the owner saw me and was SUPER friendly, invited me in and turned on all of the lights for me. This was above and beyond customer service. The shop is quite large, open and has great lighting. While I was looking the owner checked in several times and also asked my opinion on a coupon she was working on for a show this weekend. If I lived closer I would probably be here frequently. I hope the locals shop here often and if you are traveling it is worth the short detour.

Well, I must not have listened to her recite the hours because I showed up at 10:50AM and realized they weren't open! I walked back to my car, planning on coming back. However, the proprietor rushed out and asked if I'd needed something. I explained I was there to pick up an order and she let me in to make my purchase. I was so impressed with her kindness and patience, letting me in WAY before opening! I definitely can't wait to return and work on a project there with friends and family. There are many activities that entertain kids and I would say up to ten maybe. Some of the areas included were painting, grocery store, a car repair shop, restaurant, water feature, air flow type activities, small area for toddlers, outdoor activities, blocks, plus many more things. I like that adults have to be with children in order to enter. We decided to go ahead and get a year long membership. With the membership I could put my grandchildren on it and they can even go with their parents if we are not with them at no charge. There are also workers spread throughout the area who are so very kind and do a great job at keeping the place picked up and organized.
