The tables were set up in the gym and this was a great space, there was enough room for everyone. Ordering and receiving food was good, a few snafus as you would expect from a mostly volunteer group running the show, such as only giving part of our group drink tickets and none for the others when we all ordered the same thing. But its OK! as the order paper declared: "St Aloysius, where the fishes are delicious" haha Anyway I had a Fish sandwich on rye, excellently cooked, good, fresh bread. A rolled oyster which was mostly breading but it was tasty. Sides were mac and cheese and fries. I had originally ordered hush puppies and onion rings but they had just run out of both when it was my turn. A shame too because I did not care for the mac, it was very creamy but had almost no cheese flavor and the fries were just fries. But I love this time of year and this place is one of the best.

Home of the arch bishop and many priests and members of the Catholic Church organization. This beautiful classic style cathedral is massive and has an impressive campus. Walking in they have seat back chairs rang attach and make a semi circle around the stage and massive columns. The roof painted like the night sky of Bethlehem in the tale of Jesus birth is a nice elegant touch. I have visited this cathedral for a mass a handful a times from my nephews awards ceremonies and confirmations and recently to my own daughters confirmation. Overall a very lovely place to take in a mass and hold a special sacramental event such as confirmations or weddings. Being downtown you will have to street park or pay to garage park. I usually Park the adjoining 4th street live parking garage and it provides a close and easy place to park and get in and out.

Guests are treated with dignity and respect unmatched by any place I have attended before. The music embodies the excitement these people show for their love for God. Visiting here in the worst time of my life was such a blessing. Everyone cared for me in such a loving way. I think in such a crazy time and age, this church is so rock steady and unwavering in their love for what the Bible says and it's very refreshing.
