I feel so strongly about how great this school is that I am also on the board, as it is a non-profit. They treat the teachers with the respect that they deserve and don't send them home without pay when the numbers are down for the day. If the numbers are down, our kids get more interaction with more teachers. Did I mention how great the teachers are! My daughter has thrived at CCL and loves going to "school" everyday. You do have to walk up stairs as the space is rented from the church, but that has actually taught my daughter stair safety at a very early age. I cannot recommend CCL highly enough. The space is a bit dated, but they have tons of toys for the kids and they love it, so don't let the space fool you, this place is great.

Both of my kids were at home most of the time before toddler class, but they adapted quickly as the teachers are loving and caring, my kids speaks Chinese at home, the teacher even learned Chinese words that I normally say to my kids to have them feel like home. The daycare have nice transition arrangement from toddler to preschool, my son loved the preschool class right away as there are lots of fun activities and new things to learn, and I really appreciate the teacher helping my son to developed lots of social skills such as how to play together with other kids, ask nicely, use words to express feelings, follow the rules of the classroom etc. The preprimary program is amazing, the lead teacher designed themes with curriculum such as animals, different states in US, planet and earth, professionals. They select books, activities, music around theme, kids loved them and they learned as they have fun. Also the teachers really helps the kids finds their interests and strength, and guides them to develop teamwork and leadership skills. It was great to see my son work together with other kids on building block, making crafts, drawings. What I also really like this daycare is they organize lots of event for the family, we got to know more about the teachers and courses, the other families, and have chance to share different cultures. They also provide additional classes, I sign my son to soccer and phonics, my son loved the coach and teacher, and he learned disciplines and developed reading skills from those extra classes.

They all truly have the child's best interest at heart and know just what each child needs to be successful. Principal Donna and all the staff are amazing and caring people that love kids. Nicholas started going there when he was just 2 years and 9 months. His native language was Russian, and he didn't speak any English at the time. Also he was very attached to home and us - his parents. So it was quite a transition for him, but his teachers went above and beyond to make him feel welcome and help him get adjusted. And in the course of 2,5 years he has made a lot of friends, both among kids and teachers. The school has a bright spacious facility with lots of room to play, both inside and outside. Preschool programs are very creative and engaging. Nicholas was very happy to go to school every morning and came back with lots of memories and lots of crafty little (and sometimes large) things he has made together with his class during the day. Both of us felt confident and comfortable leaving our infant daugther as it is a big decision. The teachers are very helpful and supportive especially when you are a first time parent and have many questions. It is obvious they like what they are doing in the way they interact with the children/staff. My daughter loves coming to school so much that she actually cries sometimes when it is time to go home. They teach the infants yoga, sign language, self help life skills, motor skills etc. It is amazing how much she has grown mentally, physically and socailly! We love the progress notes the teacher gives us at the end of the day. It allows us to see what our daughter's day entailed and what new things she has learned.
