Sadly my participation here was for her funeral and today is the celebration of her life...where we were invited to express our loss and show the love we have along with the lists of songs we provided them and oh how the sang and brough the entire crowd to tears...very moving in a beautiful way I know she's here and loved it all. They have a few parking which is the biggest challenge but this lovely place is just a simple yet stunning decor, everyone here is just pure delight and I just love love love how they all support us with a table to place pictures extra vases for flowers making us all feel the love. #16 for 2020 This…read morebecame our church when my family moved here back in the 70s. I've been coming here off and on through the years to now. Living off island I still come here when we visit. I still have friends who attend. Gone through many Fathers through the decades. Got our house blessed by one. And, blessed a couple other times by others. Got married by one. Had funeral services here for my parents too. This church has served as the foundation for my family and continues to do so for my time. When I do attend mass, I feel all that and it helps to bring the comfort. So, what am I trying to say? It's a good church.

The night before we searched Google and Yelp for "Christian Churches near me" and Harbor Church West Oahu in Kapolei stood out. We decided on the 11am service. Upon entering and hearing the music, we agreed that the "vibe" felt quaint yet similar to the Church we normally attend in Springfield, NJ. Surprisingly both Churches use the same "Church Center" app for notifications and donations. We sat near the front and Pastor Justin was so kind and gracious to introduce himself. At the end of the service, he prayed a heartfelt prayer with us (as we are embarking on the IVF journey). It was very heartwarming and appreciated. We highly recommend Harbor Church West Oahu in KapoleI if you're visiting (or a local).

The adoration chapel is small but nice. As for the liturgies, I have only been to one but plan to return for more. The music was contemporary, which normally is not my style, but in this case it was performed exceedingly well with skilled instrumentation and an excellent cantor who kept a proper tempo and elevated the singing with her bright tone. The readers speak very good english and clearly practice beforehand as they are comfortable in their pronunciation and confident in their delivery. The priest was enthusistic and welcoming. He clearly put time and thought into his homily. As an added bonus there was ample parking even at an Easter liturgy.

This church is very big with lots of seating and parking. Go early on Sundays to score closer. After Church ends you can pick up your child directly from class or drive up and pick up in this designated area. Priest is friendly and welcoming. Holy water available upon entering and candles to light in the back. My mom showed me which one is for me so I'll always light the same one in the same spot. Though it has been awhile since I've returned, I'm excited to rejoin!

My son went to the school for only 1 year before it was shut down right after his kindergarten year with only 5 total in his class. This church will always be a part of us as we have a strong connection here. Although we do not attend as often as I would like to, we always feel right at home when we are there. Right before service, I lit a candle for my car which I traded in for a new car, and I got some holy water for my new car to bless her with. Service is always nice, Father always gets our attention, big beautiful church lots of seating and parking.

Well, I'm on my way to my parents house and wanted to dodge the Kipapa free lunch period line mess, so I decided to come up through the lower valley. We made a spontaneous quick turn in to pick up my sons free lunch here! Um hello, no line here people! We dropped by, they told us what was in the plate, got the milk and waved us good-bye. True aloha spirit!!!!! So warm and welcoming. I can feel the positive vibes radiating. It's contagious, somehow it just made my regular day that much more happy. They had a team system and didn't deter us away cause we came a few mins before I think they were supposed to start.. Anywhos, we're pulling out the lot and I just glance through my window, and a guy is waving! I need to attend the next service once they open!!!

PIBC has truly become my ohana in that time. Everyone is so welcoming and I'm so grateful to be a part of this church. There's a live band for Sunday morning worship that always performs great (and even when they don't it's just another thing to laugh about). The sermons are always great, they feel personal and relatable. PIBC also has such a nice variety of events like Youth Group, summer camps, and bible studies that help you stay connected to God throughout the week--not just on Sunday morning. I've made so many amazing memories here, and I can't wait to make more :) -Mia H.

This is not how a church is ran and this goes on and on throughout the week. They have no care for people that work or nothing.
