Came to St. Rocco's with friends for the annual festival. My friends rave about the italian sausages which they got. There is dining inside the church which there is a line and a menu of the options. Plenty of other food options outside to choose from as if one was a carnival or street fair. Desserts and drinks too so make sure to look around. Chicken nuggets were ok, fries were eh. Zeppoles were good and best when eaten fresh. There are also trinkets, jewelry, etc for purchase as well. It does get a bit crowded. There are carnival games to play and prizes to win...though not easy. I've played a few times in past years and only one once or twice so not for me. So spend wisely...though it is a fundraiser. Fun watching others play and cheering them on. Parking in the area may be limited - you may have to go a few blocks further and walk. Have fun and be respectful to everyone there. read more

Gorgeous church where you would least likely expect to find one- but the highlite is the St. Rocco's annual festival- as Italian feasts go, this one is the best on Long Island, maybe the best in the New York City area! I have old crippled great aunts that will manage to get off their death-beds and suddenly have the ability to get up and take a long walk for sausage and peppers. Go figure. This is the same festival where, on one of those shoot-the-water-in-the-clowns-mouth games, it was me and some little kid - maybe he was like 5, (his dad had to hold him up) I KICKED his butt and won me a big, giant stuffed animal! My wife and I love St. Rocco's Feast! It's a great mix of faith and food! The entertainment is great- the Mass and liturgy is the center of the feast and the food is delicious. There is something for everybody and everyone is treated like family. We don't even live in Nassau and we make the trip every year to St. Rocco's Feast- it's truly a Faith filled festival. This year they had a beautiful Traditional Latin Mass. Great job to everyone who makes this festival possible! read more

The annual St. Rocco's Feast is like going to Italy for one crazy summer night! Get some sangria for the wait in line and then chow down on some of the best chicken Parm, meatballs & pasta on the island in the big dining hall. Afterwards, the zeppoles are hot and fresh and the rides are in full swing at this beautiful church fair in a hilly crowded Glen Cove neighborhood. Parking on the narrow streets is reserved Brooklyn-style, with lawn chairs and garbage cans, but finding a spot is well worth the trouble because this feast is about as down-home as it gets. The church volunteers pull together an excellent week-long festival and the food is out of this world! read more

Great little Church! the local community gets very involved and it makes for an amazing ambiance! What I appreciated the most about this church and its community is that alot of the people actually spoke Italian and were actual Italian-Americans. Not the ones from Jersey Shore or some other crappy reality show who have raped the culture and left it only knowing how to pronounce 10 words and swear mozzarella is pronounce Mootza-rrell! haha! Kudos to you Italian American Rocconites!! If you around during the last week in the month of July there should be a feast going on, stop in for some delicious eats! Its mostly festival food, definitely try the huge turkey legs...its delicious and probably not good for your health but oh well, just say 10 Hail Marys and thou shall be forgiven! This is definitely one of the best Italian feasts in Long Island, and its all week long! I will be back next year! read more

Went to the fair everyone in my neighborhood bragged about it me n my hubby this year walked to it was very small shut all the streets off for it. But i did love the italian stuff there.. read more
