Lisa of the consolation team communicated effectively with me days before the service. She was compassionate and took great notes about my mother, this was beautifully reflected by Father John in his homily. Just the day before, Father Rolando prayed with us at Cassidy's Funeral Home, also done with respect in honoring my mother's time on earth. A wonderful and inviting Catholic church, it is not surprising why my parents became a part of this community.

However, the Reverend is not a very nice person at all. She is self absorbed, and only cares about herself. The things that she says are not from the heart, but are read from a script. She is an abusive Pastor who discusses various religions in her scripts in a nervy way. She is not the best candidate as a Pastor, and she takes the life out of everyone who attends those services. Please consider going to a more caring, and nurturing environment when it comes to religious matters. Her words mean nothing to the real human beings making a honest living in this community. I will never give one cent to this organization. I hope you like monopoly money because that's all you are worth Reverend. You can take your words and stick it where the sun don't shine.

My family has been coming to Christ Alive for over a month now. This is our new home church and we…read morelove it. Pastor Cristi and Bob are terrific and both very strong in Christ and wonderful people. The worship team is outstanding and lead terrific worship every week. there is an active childrens ministry with great teachers and my kids have learned and retained more about the bible in the past month than they did the past three years. There is 1 Wednesday a month at night where they have worship and prayer and 3 other where there is teaching almost like a bible study. While not as attended like a Sunday, these are wonderful in helping you keep Christ focused during the week and spending extra time with church family. The church also has small groups, called Life groups, which change about quarterly and offered both at the church and at people's homes depending on the group. The church also holds food drives and has a 1 Saturday a month Food Pantry to feed the needy, doing Christ work in the community is a big part of the identity here. I love it. No better church in the area. People of all races and nationalities are welcome and the church is very diverse.

It was occupied by the British during the Revolutionary War, and if the walls could talk, I'm sure it would have PLENTY to say. I'm not sure if tours are available, but definitely worth checking out if you're in the area, or even making a special trip. Next to the town's "central park," Heckscher Park, and a short walk to eclectic "downtown Huntington," it's definitely worth a visit!!

Not being a parish member and having visited only once, I take this time to place a 3 star review. It has brightly colored images of glass windows. The Pastor, Senior Reverend John Hopkins speaks and presents very fine and smooth. Above the pews on the next level is an organ. It was played by Henry DeVries the day we visited there; for a special service to honor the life of Mel MacDonald. They have a multi-purpose room in the back which can be used for people to have activities. As in this case, to serve food, drink and share memorable moments on a video screen. They also have a school and multiple sports and boy scout activities as well. I found Kim, one of their office staff to be pleasant and efficient in communicating and responding to my inquiries.
