I spotted this little Goodwill tucked into a strip center while I was pumping gas at the H-E-B next…read moredoor. When I stepped through the door, I discovered that it was the tiniest Goodwill I've ever ever set foot into. The square footage of the place would equal a large efficiency apartment. I have to admit for such a small place they did have some choice items on the shelves of better quality than your average Goodwill. This is also the only Goodwill I've ever seen where the majority of the floor was not actually given over to clothing. As a matter of fact, there were no clothing racks whatsoever. Apparently, this place is been here for almost 10 years. Lots of books, media, glassware, and knickknacks can be found here.

The staff is super nice but this location needs to do something about the regulars. I've come 30-45…read moreminutes before the store opens multiple times this month and the regulars put a line of empty water bottles, chairs, and gloves to hold their family/friends spot in line. So while I should be first in line, I end up with 15-20 people in front of me because they claim they held their spot in line. It's ridiculous.

Every time there is a new bin rotation, people are running and grabbing armfuls of clothes, which…read moreI'm pretty sure is against the rules but for some reason this goodwill outlet lets it slide. Some people are also aggressive, I've had people just snatch a clothing item I'm holding out from my hands and walk away. I don't know why this goodwill doesn't do anything about the aggression at these bins. Not to mention, there are some families that camp out at the bins all day and leave their children widely unattended without any sort of protection, there are usually little kids playing around with items and digging through stuff without gloves. Besides that, I've been here three or four times and found a couple really good finds. Some days I find nothing of value and other days I find some pretty good stuff. If you come to the goodwill outlet, just make sure to wear gloves, because I've literally came across diapers and dirty undergarments. Also be sure to wear a face mask because there is a lot of dust and I'm always sneezing around the bins.

However...you won't be able to try anything on bc they DO NOT HAVE FITTING ROOMS! What?? The place is huge and they could absolutely stage some fitting rooms somewhere in this behemoth place. You might be thinking, "Oh, I'll just return whatever doesn't fit"--whelp, their return policy doesn't do them any favors either. You have to return items within two weeks for same-day store credit. AKA...you have to buy more that same day with your return credit. Everything has to have tags and you have to your receipt as well. Outside of that, great place, great selection, great location.

He also offered me the charity receipt, which is standard. There were two cars in front of me, but there were multiple employees, and they worked efficiently to keep things flowing smoothly, which kept the line moving. The drive-thru is covered, which was great because it was a rainy, dismal day.

There's wall art, jewelry, teaware, books, clothing, CDs/records, tools, kitchenware, home decor. There was especially a lot of jewelry and tools. They're only open on weekends, 11-6. It's a small operation so sometimes they close unexpectedly due to illness. If they're open, they will have the OPEN sign up on Williams. Small parking area and if that's full, there are street spots nearby. According to the owner, they do restock inventory regularly.
