Upon a sick visit to see Dr. Martin, his staff told me he had more important paitents to see - Don't the customers keep the doctors in business and pay the staff's wages by our high pricess we are charged? Value for the money - no way - will find a doctor's office that at least wears a smile and accepts patients - sick or well.

The office that we went to back in the day was very children focused from the fun toys and books in the waiting room to the beds that had a play room under them. Great for the kids not so fun for the nurses and doctors that have to find hiding kids. Great place to hide from getting a shot. Well until you were found and had to come to terms with your new fate. Being a kid has lots of great advantages but being able to be picked up was not one of them. As I got older I remember Dr. B giving me stickers and being nice to me, she would do the normal doctor checks but made she rue that I was understanding what was happening and why. She wanted from a early age that doctors are good and that we need to take care of ourselves. Her nurses were also great at helping everyone feel safe and welcomed. From being in toys to sitting with you while you had to get a shot they new the tricks to help it be easier on there patients. We had not gone here for a very long time but if we ever needed a doctor we know who we would see. Thank you Dr. B for being a great first doctor.

I think the challenge is that they are so busy I don't think you can get in very easily as a new patient. I also like the only health portal which is tied int Community Hospital. The facility is pretty good and easily accessible to the side of the community hospital property. Yes it's expensive but so is getting a new strut on my car. Healthcare is important and given the amount of overhead and regulations and other things I don't think my visits are out of line with the general medical industry here.

I have tried to call and never gotten through to my doctor for weeks. They use phreesia check in system and I always feel the devices are dirty. Discussions for patient check are not personal nor friendly. The receptionist is curt with patients as she tells the to stand in line. The waiting room his clean and remodeled. There is a slim selection of magazines and no television or music. And I just got yelled at for not returning my phreesia. Yikes!! It is a good thing I love my doctor or I would never come here. They have online checkin that circumvents much of the checkin.

He's careful about not over-prescribing medications and discusses the options in full. He's always been more interested in my good health than in getting additional services from me. I've been going to Dr. Martin for (ahem,...) decades now. Pretty much early on in his practice of internal medicine in Fishers. I would see him regularly for annual sinus infections that put me out for days . . . which miraculously have disappeared. I haven't had one of those in 5 or 6 years now. I've always been happy with his care and treatment. His office staff has improved over the years. It may be very difficult to get an appointment as a new patient ....but I highly recommend him.

She communicates clearly, and her staff is nice. You can tell the office is well-run. The location is good on the mid/west side of Carmel, and the parking is amazing (can always find a spot right outside the door). The reception area is a shared big area with about 20 other businesses so it is roomy and during Covid especially nice because I could easily stay away from others. Everyone who I mention her name to says the same thing, "Oh, I hear she's good!"
