Actual email to HR To whom it may concern, my name is Jose Sanchez I have been working for Staffmark for about 3 years now. Recently the company had some major changes that has effected me and my position personally. I was employed through indeed flex, and apparently indeed flex went away. How I found out about this was when I reported  work on July 25th the security person said not to clock in that David, our Staffmark manager needed to speak with me. He explained that they have been sending me emails and trying to call me to get this new company change over taken care of and if I did not have my " onboarding' packet complete I would not be allowed to work,  I said, ok no problem, I mentioned that I did have something in my email for onboarding but since I have not applied at any new jobs I didn't think it was for me. Now as far as the phone call attempts, my shift starts at 2130 pm if they were calling me any time between 10AM and 4 Pm, since I work grave yard those hours are 2200pm and 0400 am. I'm sorry but when I'm sleeping I don't answer the phone, and if they left a message I would have to listen through several spam calls, telemarketers, and AI chat bots. Moving forward, I was told not to come back to work until these hiring packets were done..besides not having someone who could have walked me through these and having to restart several times because the session would time out or I would find out I needed to use Firefox and not Google and change my settings to " open as full web page" . If they don't allow me back to work today I will have lost 5 days of pay. Staffmark managers, David and Memo, are on-site I see David almost every day and Memo I run into when I have to complete a late assignment...why did I have to find out about this major change from the security person, why wasn't there a meeting with all of us, why did Staffmark not post letters or memo's in regards to these changes. I know of several people who speak only Spanish who were told the same thing, don't come back till you complete this packet, I don't know about everyone else's but assuming these employees , who only speak Spanish were to receive a phone call message in English or instructions in English and being told not to come back till this was done. .they would quit, I was educated here in the states and went to college here in the states and i ran into problems that made me restart this several times imagine all those employees who didn't get clear instructions. I do appreciate being given the time to complete this important company requirement, but I should have been allowed to work, not working is causing unnecessary financial stress on those who care about me..not fair  Thank you for taking the time to read my email Jose Sanchez  Only message received via text from staffmark; On Thursday August 1st , "A hiring packet was sent to your email. We will need you to complete in order to work with us. Second message; "The night shift driver position has been backfilled. We may have a day shift position opening up!" They sent me an on-boarding  and a hiring packet which I completed on Wednesday. Yesterday I received a message that I have only two days to complete the additional  on-boarding and hiring forms. THIS IS BY FAR ONE OF THE RUDEST MOST HATEFUL TEMP AGENCYS I HAVE EVER BEEN TO IN MY LIFE I have never been banned from a company or had any sort of altercation with any business and I don't even make enemy's, but I have been following up on a weekly basis for a few months because I was PROMISED a job position with a warehouse and was so excited to start working that week but next thing you know they retracted on me and told me that I was first in cue for the position. So I checked in on a weekly basis updating my hours to stay constant with them. Well let's fast forward to a few days ago I called in to get an update and update my hours and the manager Christine Tovar was talking to me I asked her what had happened she insisted that I was just not picked and that the warehouse collaborators call the shots on who they want to work for them but she was rude from the start. I told her it was funny and strange because I was trying for months to get the position and I have been nothing but reliable for them she snapped at me telling me I was being passive aggressive I tried to reassure her that she was probably having a bad day because those were not my intentions so she hung up in my face which was extremely hurtful so I proceeded to try and call back but couldn't get through so instead I texted my updated hours and told her I would be in the office the following morning and was looking forward to meeting her APPARENTLY that pissed her off because she then proceeded to call me and Raise her voice to let me know that she was the manager main leader at the office AND THAT SHE BANNED ME PERMANENTLY FROM EVERY SINGLE STAFFMARK IN THE ENTIRE UNITED STATES COMPLETELY ABUSING HER POWER I CRIED SO HARD WHEN I GOT OFF THE PHONE I WAS SO ANGRY I DONT KNOW WHAT KIND OF AGENCY THEY ARE RUNNING. Well that following morning I went over to the agency to try to reason with them and diffuse the issue and explain to them that it was a total misunderstanding they proceeded to say that I wasn't a good fit for STAFFMARK and that they would keep me blocked I told them I understood that she had so much hate for me but could she please unblock me from the system so that I could work for another Staffmark Agency they Just proceeded on so cold to not even reason with me. If you wish to try your luck with them in hopes that you don't get yelled at for questioning the stagnancy when the don't deliver on there word then by all means try them out but there are so many better agencies out there for a lot of us they may just be a waste of time and this is merely my opinion but I know from my heart I was 100 with them and that was literally my first conversation with Christine Tovar. LP has so many better temp options on everything. read more

Stay away from this location. My girlfriend went there for a CSR job opening and made it perfectly clear that she only had a misdemeanor and NO FELONIES. Mind you they never asked, they only asked for FELONIES. She went to the job, and after 3hrs the Supervisor came out to her and in front of EVERYONE told her she had to leave due to her background. Went to a actual site that said they were hiring. Then was referred by the shop manager to fill out all with staff mark I have never meet the most unprofessional people in my life. I'm there looking for work and they are taking selfies and talking about posts to Instagram.. so to save time I asked to complete process online and was given extreme attitude by Mia. When I left they said they had emailed me the links I wanted 2 hours for the link then my password did not work that she had made for me in the office 2 hours prior.. then they tell me there is no openings at the site when the manager sent me to fill out the app to get sent there.. it's crazy that when when people need a little help to provide for the family you come accepts filth like this.. read more

Very rude employees work here. I walked in said hello & they told me take a seat and I did. I'm waiting & somebody else walks in & they assisted him first when I was waiting for 10 minutes. I came in to ask some questions about my W2 and they just completely ignored me. This agency will give you a job but if you decide to quit the job after being with that job for awhile they will not give you another job & you will be blacklisted from this agency. I suggest no one go to the agency unless your really desperate. Also called before going in saying I have questions about my W2 & were very rude saying, "we can't tell you any information about W2's, you have to come in and speak with us at the agency". Then they hung up the phone on me. Very rude employees that just want to hire you so they can get commission when they give you a job. I don't suggest anyone coming to this agency. read more

If I could leave a negative star I would. So I know for a fact this Agency in La puente is Sloppy. Not all Staffmarks though the one in Santa Fe spring and Carson are Beyond organized but this one in la Puente is a Mess! Trash... Dora was the lady that filled me in the system she wrote my social security number in her notebook!!! Crazy right?? they have a computer system for a reason..... I don't feel safe at all knowing she has my ss# on a notebook that people can easily get access too!! I left very insecure so Next morning I give her a call and let her know I don't feel safe at all she stated its not just my number but all the clients she has are in that notebook. What!! Common that notebook can fall into the WRONG hands... she didn't feel very happy that I spoke up and replied with Attitude and basically put it in a way that she won't help me get a job? Why because I felt unsafe she wrote my Ss# on her notebook WOW. So NOT professional at all. read more
