The inspection price was very reasonable and he was able to check out the house quickly. The sellers used him to update the electrical system before we moved into the house. Because no one could be in the house during the process, the sellers chose to move out several days prior to closing. Overall, he was very professional, priced reasonably and kind. It looked world's different than the slap-dash, amateur job our builders attempted in the same room. While you may hesitate to call an expert like we did (we were so determined to do it ourselves), the people at this company explained every step of their process. If you ask any questions during a check-up (on their maintenance plan), they'll walk you through the steps if you're able to do it yourself. We had to replace our 20+ year old appliances. We ordered the same appliances so that they could…read morefit in the existing cut-outs in our kitchen. We ordered a gas cooktop, wall oven, and a dishwasher. We tried to find an installer who could work with gas. We finally found Jeff at Appliance Service and Installation. After I told him about the appliances, he wanted to come and look everything over. Little did we know how appliances have changed in those years! Wall ovens now require their own built-in wall cabinet and they no longer fit in the existing base cabinet! They are 2" deeper. Jeff told us that he would have to move the existing gas line so that the oven could fit in the same space. Our old dishwasher used to be hard-wired. Now it came with a plug so we had to install a new plug. So, this was going to be quite a job. Jeff is VERY knowledgeable and professional and he explained how he would proceed with the job. He told us how much he charges (he works by the hour) and our job took him nearly 7 hours (he told us it would take this long). It was WORTH it!!!!!! We are confident that the electrical works, everything was done correctly and safely. The new gas line was installed with a new regulator. All the appliances are working correctly and smoothly. What a relief! Jeff is also very respectful of your house. He worked very cleanly! He even swept up after he finished! In the end, I believe you get what you pay for. I would NOT hesitate to have Jeff come and work on any appliance that we have.

Jason and his crew coordinated well with the City of Oak Ridge. They worked expeditiously to complete the installation in one day so that my 96 year old father would have power back by the end of the day. They returned the next day to label the panel box and to move the ground wire to a permanent spot. I was super impressed that they fully concealed the ground wire in the carport. All their work is extremely neat and professional. They travel with an 8 ft. ladder and made my dad so happy when they replaced a light bulb in the cathedral ceiling that had burned out. Such kindness. Everyone I've dealt with at Diversified has been a pleasure to work with. I'll have them back to check out a problematic hall light fixture soon.
