My views of him are different now because as he knew my situation he put me on the do not call list and when I would call and ask for him he would take the call and feed me bullshit about how there are no positions instead of telling me the truth. new management is fucked up. One of them is how temps are treated in the workplace. The Pat advice is to go in to the job, to the best of your ability, show up on time leave a little late and take your breaks as you should. However, regrettably, temporary workers are expected to come in and jump right in with a little training and perform in a stellar manner. Staff does not like to put much time into training a temp. And, even hiring in as an office worker, women are paid less than men.I had personal experience of this as a long time our friend was looking for a job at the same time. The same type of job was offered to me at $12 an hour and he would be offered upwards of $16 an hour. However I do not believe that this is a fault of the hiring agency. But, it was a part of my experience. If you are looking for a job, definitely reach out to Robert half the office team. They are a great group of people to work with!
