If their client reconsidered they should of been professional and said so. Leaving the talent hanging is irresponsible. Another thing I learned from these recent experiences with out of state recruiters is they seem too good to be true.

Kelly services ask that family/friends get involved in verification of I9 documentation. They wanted a family/friend to share personal information, create an account, be video taped with the applicant entering in I9 documents , upload information etc. Isn't it the employments agency job to verify documents? What are they getting paid for if I'm doing all the work. Sensitive information such as a passport number and Id over a video call is not a secure way to confirm documents. Compromising my and my family's/friends personal information is not worth a part time job.

I don't live in MI, I have nothing to do with Kelly and emailed their customer service numerous times to ask them to remove our address. Their "customer service" would not respond. So I said I was going to email all of upper management. Peter Quigley, the CEO of Kelly Services responded right away and said "just block it." I informed him he clearly did not read my email as I cannot "block" incoming junk mail from the US mail. Peter Quigley, the CEO of Kelly Services to me to "F off" and said "you're blocked." She had informed me about a flagstaff bank position that started 3 weeks from the time she called me. She said she would have someone contact me in regards to interview times and so forth on Monday and I spoke to her on Friday! A week passed by I received no call so I decided to give her a call. She had asked me if I knew Dan the recruiter who worked in the Troy location and I briefly did remember that I met with him a couple years ago while I was looking for employment. At that time I was sent on interviews that Dan sent me on and while radstad at the time was trying to help me find a position I also was looking outside of Randstad opportunities as well. At the time of interviewing positions with Randstad and awaiting employment, I received a call from a rewarding company and was hired on the spot and I took the position. When I had informed Dan that I found a position and I'm no longer actively looking he did not have a problem with it. But here I am actively looking for employment and the national recruiter whom forwarded my resume to Dan recognized me and did not want to bring me forward for a face to face interview. When I asked the original recruiter whom originally contacted me she asked me about Dan and I. To my knowledge there was nothing that happened with Dan n I. He was obviously upset that I didn't take his low ball offer a few years ago! And judged me on it today. Dan that's not nice that you did that! Don't be mad at me because I took the position that was right for me. Dan stop talking about me in the Randstad world I'm not a bad employee because I didn't take a position from you! People have options and I chose the better option! Stop being a rude and judging me for that. If u go here don't see Dan!!!! They don't pay for the holidays that the client that you are assigned to are closed for. This means…read moreNO PAY for the days that they are closed. DAKO offers no paid time off. If you are sick, NO PAY, jury duty, NO PAY, court summons, NO PAY, your mom dies, NO PAY. Forget about vacations. You get the idea, working contract is horrible. They do provide a small vacation benefit of sorts. For every year of service, they provide one week of pay on your anniversary date, but you must request it. The benefit is not automatic. If you don't ask for it, you don't get it. Health insurance is self-funded, (DAKO doesn't buy a policy, they pay for the claims directly through a managing company), so they have huge deductibles, huge co-pays, and they try to deny every claim. How much for this wonderful coverage you ask? $17,000 a year for a family. (Try Obamacare you say? Its $19,000 for me. THANKS OBAMA!) The upside, I was paid very well which help offset the unbelievably expensive health insurance. The HR staff was very friendly also. Sales people, not so much. These are my opinions, your personal experience may be different, but I doubt it.
