They can advise you of the issue, but if it's not apart of passing inspection, they suppose to pass you. Instead they tell you if you go without getting the work they pointed out done, if it's not completed by them you will fail inspection. This is the worst tactic ever. I just learned this by going to a dealership to get one of my other vehicles inspected. I was advised they can tell you how long you have before the you need the work done, but let you know that it's not mandatory to pass. Live and learn! I'm going to find out all the ins and outs of what passes and what can't pass to get your car inspected. I refuse to be scammed by Mavis again.
