They can advise you of the issue, but if it's not apart of passing inspection, they suppose to pass you. Instead they tell you if you go without getting the work they pointed out done, if it's not completed by them you will fail inspection. This is the worst tactic ever. I just learned this by going to a dealership to get one of my other vehicles inspected. I was advised they can tell you how long you have before the you need the work done, but let you know that it's not mandatory to pass. Live and learn! I'm going to find out all the ins and outs of what passes and what can't pass to get your car inspected. I refuse to be scammed by Mavis again.

They cannot even fix a flat tire right. No joke. Their tire patches leave you with a flat down the road. They have gutted my catalytic converter when it was a coil. They have changed my front brakes and the vehicle shook violently down the road. When I brought it back they claim the rear brakes needed a "service". No parts needed for the supposed rear service but $450 later they "warranty" the front. Claiming the rear brakes caused the new front brakes to go bad. These people will actually damage your vehicle and charge you a lot to do it. This shop is the classic reason why it is so hard to trust mechanics
