I heartily recommend their services. The staff are exceptionally helpful and communicate plan and changes therein as they develop. You will always be kept abreast of progress, hitches in the plan, possible improvements to your home, and other issues. Everyone I encountered was very friendly and easy to work with. I admit that I was a particularly difficult customer, for a variety of reasons, but Crestwood took all the flak I and my realtor could throw at them in stride. They were always professional and worked hard to make sure I was satisfied with progress and the results. I am certainly very happy with the work Crestwood Painting did. They scraped the house well and painted fairly quickly, despite being repeatedly delayed by rain. As they worked, they were very clean and kept their tools organized when not at the house. They truly go above and beyond to make sure you're happy with the work they've done, and they will fix anything (within reason, obviously) that you have a problem with immediately and without question. After the work is all done, they follow up regularly in case you've found some aspects of the job you're unhappy with. That said, don't plan on having to chase them to fix anything. They do fantastic work. Our home looks amazing. Overall, Crestwood Painting is the outfit to contact if you want your painting done right. The crew not only worked their tails off to provide results and finishes in a timely manner, but cleaned up incredibly well! I have never had a home renovation completed to such high standards! DW Elite Decks is by far the best experience we've ever had in a home project. Over the past two years, we received 6-7 bids for our new deck. After meeting with Dan, he became the easy choice for our project and we couldn't be happier with the results. Our project includes a stamped concrete patio, a PVC deck (Azek brand) that is uncovered in one area and then covered in another area that includes dining and living room areas. We had a stone TV wall added (no fireplace) and a nice custom mantle that Dan and team added for us. We bead board on the ceiling, a ceiling fan, lighting, and in deck stair lights. When dealing with contractors, there are a few things that are important to us: 1) Be responsive, especially over email and text 2) Be proactive in telling us changes to schedules 3) Be thorough in documenting the project and every selection in writing so there is no confusion. 4) Be punctual and professional - this includes your crew. 5) Be honest and treat the project as if it were your own home. Dan and the entire DW team meet all criteria. In our visits with Dan, he was patient and heard our ideas (some of them bad) and was great about explaining alternative approaches to the deck design and selections we made. He was also very good about explaining cost impacts of decisions we were making. If we had questions or concerns, he was quick to respond to emails, calls and text messages. He told us his team would show up and get started at 6:45am each morning and I've never seen a group this punctual. I wish my company had people that could show up to meetings on time like these guys show up to work. For a month, the DW crew was our morning wake-up and I don't recall them every being a minute late. The project was flawless and we love our new addition to our house. I'm sitting on my covered deck as I write this review - it's become the room for dinner, royals games, morning coffee, games with the kids. It really is a dream room for us and I can't thank DW Elite Decks enough for making such a big investment a truly wonderful experience. He told me when giving me our bid that he's usually not the cheapest. He may not have been, but he was competitive and worth paying a premium for the peace of mind in doing business with a true group of professionals. HORRIBLE! Aaron told me his company has over 20 yrs…read more experience restoring and building decks. I soon found out he's the only employee and lacks knowledge and skills working on decks. I have weeds growing out of my deck boards that sits 5-6 feet off the ground! My deck frame/support boards measure 3", he put a board 2 1/4" on top leaving a large gap for dirt, debris and water to collect and sit on top of my deck frame/support boards underneath resulting in weeds. This will also cause rotting on my deck frame/support boards. Railing boards were cut short and uneven too. He was cussing throughout the whole project replacing deck floor joists, floor boards and rails. He couldn't lift the joists and had to wait for a friend of his to come help him lift them, it took him 4 days to remove the wood screws in my existing floor boards grinding away at screws using the wrong bits or stripped bits. He said it was due to his battery on his drill being low but this happened everyday. I asked him a few time to make sure he picked up all the wood screws so I wouldn't get a flat on my riding lawn mower. I ended up finding almost 20 screws he left around my deck and yard and had to buy a magnet sweeper to make sure I picked them all up. It took him over 2 weeks to complete, a job that should've only taken 3-4 days. I know because I've had this done twice before. He spent a lot of time on the phone answering calls and returning phone calls to people while he attempted to work on my deck. When I told Aaron about weeds growing out of my deck, his response was it will cost me to come fix it and he sent me an invoice. He expects me to pay for his mistakes??? He proceeded to tell me he was a one man show and he has no retirement (his words). Like this is supposed to make me feel sorry for him and an excuse for shoddy work?
