So she lied. She finally arrived around 3:45 PM, outside talking to someone, then walked in with her teenage son appearing completely unconcerned about being late. There was no apology, acknowledgment, or professionalism whatsoever. She came in sighing heavily and acting like it was no big deal, despite the salon being packed with customers. At that point, we decided to leave. She tried to come after us, but honestly, I didn't want to risk another bad experience. About four weeks ago, my son received an uneven haircut at a high-end shop and he's been counting down the days to get it fixed. First impressions matter, and the overall appearance, attitude, and lack of communication did not inspire confidence. The salon itself was extremely busy, which makes the lack of professionalism even worse. Customers deserve communication, respect, and accountability when their time is being wasted.

I have been going to Stallings Barber Shop for 15 years and I think they are the Best around! John and Peter run it, cuts are $13, kids are less. John is also a women's stylist! I didn't realize they were closing at 6:00pm and last call for a haircut was at 5:30pm. I felt really bad because being new to the area and the hours on here said 8pm. Luckily Leyle said she was able to give me a haircut, and honor the appointment. As I sat down I told Leyle what I wanted and I must say she did an awesome job at cutting my hair. She did exactly what I wanted, damn didn't know I had so much volume on the top of my hair(thanks Leyle). We were chit chatting about where we were from and it was very nice knowing a barbershop is nearby if I need to get a haircut. Please check these two out they are very friendly, kind, and amazing at what they do. Coming from NY didn't know the price of a haircut was so reasonable, I will come back here again knowing Leyle killed it with cutting haircuts. Just an FYI their hours of operation is M-Sat 9:30-6:00pm and Sunday is 10:00am or 10:30-2pm. Overall great experience will come back cheers to Leyle and Russ for their hard work.

Then we moved into a senior Del Webb community in Fort Mill, SC and I started to be a bi-weekly customer in 2012. Charlie is my regular barber and is now my 99 year old dad's barber. He gives a good haircut, man-style with eyebrow, ear and nose hairs trimmed and hair cut as you like. For dad, his visits include a shampoo along with his haircut. The shop is closed on Sundays and all the barbers have different schedules as to which days they work. Saturdays is mostly a kid day, but is a first-come first-served situation. When a barber opens up, you get cut. Otherwise, you make an appointment for the barber of your choice or with whomever is available when you want to come in. A few years ago Carmel Span became a family affair as my wife started to get her haircuts from Vickie Penny. And she has quite a long-time following of regulars, so you need to call for an appointment in advance. And Vickie is a very nice lady. Prices are reasonable and the shop is clean. Ample parking out back. They have a good crew here.
