You gotta make your fun where you find it, and bring it on home! So, we recently stopped in at the Carp Fair Grounds for the Carp Farmers' Market (a whole new experience during the pandemic! But this is for another review :-) ) On the way to the Fairgrounds, we passed by the new Ridge Rock Brewing Co., and we were very impressed with the big patio out the back of the building. Since we do enjoy craft beer, we decided to stop by on the way home from the farmer's market on this day. First of all, the brewery is in an updated red brick building on the corner of Carp Rd. and Donald B. Munro Dr. There is a seating area or two to your left as you enter, and a reception / cashier on the right, where they also sell souvenirs (cool!) It's nice and bright in here, and I can't wait until we can sit inside again, and share good times at one of these tables. On the day we were here, we were 2nd in line, but nobody was at the cash. We waited for not more than 5 minutes for the server to get back. She was friendly, informative, and efficient, and didn't take long to get to us. We picked up an 8-pack of a variety of beers: 2 Blonde, 2 Amber, and 2 Late Harvest, as well as 1 each of Lett Kveik and Spro Kveik - specialties of this brewery. I couldn't wait - we shared a can of the Amber over lunch. It was very tasty! I look forward to going back, hopefully to dine-in, at some point over the summer.

Another part of the plaza has been built, but with COVID abounding it has not yet filled up. Which leaves plenty of parking! I stopped in here because I could see the tent out front of Evergreen. Obviously, you can't sit and sip inside. Staff was friendly and somewhat informative. They do have a nice variety of beers, which all seem to be in cans. When I got home with my 6-pack, I discovered that one beer had no label on it - just a sticker! The beer was good (we tried and shared 2 between us). I will definitely go back!

So this brewery used to be at 866 Campbell Ave. My husband likes their beer, so we used to go there…read morea lot (because it was close) and it was super small and pretty much just a place to buy beer, but since they moved to their new location on Robertson Rd, they have expanded and the space is much larger. They've partnered up with some food trucks that park on their property. You can sit outside or inside the brewery and eat food from the food trucks and drink their beer. As of our most recent visit, they only had one food truck there (Ad Mare), but in the past they had more (Walking Tacos used to be there). There's free parking on-site, but it's limited.

I made it in after a dinner on a Thurs eve. I stopped to buy some beer to take home. I am into sours, fruit beer, selzetrs and they had a good selection. BUT, 4 regular beer cost me $30! Damn! Plus, their regulations stated that I needed to buy an 88 cent cookie to leave with the beer! THEN, they stated they had ran out of cookies. This was getting all to complicated for the purchase! Staff member was nice enough. Not her rules, right? So, I was charged anyways in case the manager looked at the slips and I was given a radler sample up top at the bar to replace the cookie. That sample would have been free anyways! LOL! Anyways, the inside bar area was nice enough. The outer area was just OK. I mean, you face a very busy street and all is concrete. Some picnic tables. 2 food trucks were out there that I have yet to try but they were closed for the night. The Beer Co. is very unassuming from the outside. You would not know it was a brew place unless someone told you about it. Would I go back? Sure, but will skip the beer to go. A shame as they were very good. Many brews brought in from other brew places too.

Couldn't really taste the truffle, but the hamburger was cooked well and the bun was nice and soft. Each bite was really good and the burger didn't fall apart when trying to eat it. They also give you a lot of fries and also a side of beans or slaw. My buddies also said their food was good. Service was a bit slow and it was kind of dark in there, but overall, a decent place to get a lot of food and drinks. You can also listen to some good classic rock music or watch whatever they have on the TV's.

We went on a Sunday night and they were out of pizza (big bummer that's what we were there for) but they really tried so hard to make us welcome and happy that my kids kept talking about their kindness.. the shareable were ok maybe the best was the 1818 one . the place is lovely, spacious, music , really really nice to hang out on a Beautiful day.

They have a menu and anything I've sampled here is terrific. Patio, great. Dog friendly which I adore. Service can be hit or miss. Parking. 0 issues, huge lot and is nestled into a plaza with other great stores. I wish they had more fruit beer or sours but no matter what, I pick up a 4 pack every couple of months for visitors. I don't love beer but there are other options on site, like wine. If I sample a new beer on tap when they are not busy, I always tip. The to-go beer to buy is easy and right in the cooler as you walk in. Staff will grab what you need!
