Compared to so many industrial style breweries this one stands out and caught our eye again. With more time this trip to New York to see family we made the trip back over to try their beers. When we arrived the owners were the only ones here. We checked over their beer list and I first tried their Raspberry Haze while my wife grabbed their Blueberry Cobbler. I thought both were great brews. We had a fantastic time talking about beer and loads of other topics with the owners. You could tell they have a passion for creating craft beer and running their small business brewery! Also despite being opened for 9 years the inside is so nice and clean you'd think it was a recently opened spot. Because we are far from home we needed to try a couple more beers so I got their Latitude 18 (tropical wheat ale) and my wife got the Sinful Snap (spiced amber ale) and these two were fantastic as well. This is a spot worth making a trip for, not just for the delicious beers but also to meet the owners. A brewery we will make a trip to when we are back up in this area for sure!

He walked us through how their distillery works and how the grains are locally sourced. They have quite a few options and some very unique options like Garlic Vodka and Ginger Vodka. The different gins were great to taste side by side as well as tasting the whiskey side by side. Their canned vodka coolers are delicious, we coudn't leave without buying some. We walked away really enjoying the experience and the craft alcohols. Had to get a few bottles to take home, and the mini bottles are a great option with the 4 pack for $40. I had to get the garlic vodka, it is just so unique and he suggested using it in a Caesar or Bloody Mary, so we will try that.

We initially went into the brewery for a few cans, and ended up taking a peek next door at this distillery as well, where we found out that they use local farm-grown ingredients to distill vodka and rum, and we got a tour of the facility although they are not distilling anything at the moment. Fascinating! The equipment is large; I can't imagine trying to do this on the QT during prohibition!! We we offered samples of their organic rum, a vodka cooler, as well as garlic flavoured vodka!! This was amazing!! We took some home, and I will for sure cook with it! This place (and the brewery next door) was certainly worth the visit. We will be back... once we get low on what we purchased!

Apparently, almost everywhere in the vicinity is closed on Mondays with the exception of this brewing company and McDonald's! Raquette River brewing won! Normally, we're not too big on places with food trucks; however, this place had four food trucks, two of which looked like we would order from. Their beer was absolutely terrific! Couldn't recommend their wines though. I ordered their double IPA while my wife ordered one of the local wines they had on their list. The wine made it for two sips and I truly enjoyed the double IPA! My wife ended up switching to a blackberry sour they had on tap. We utilize the marketplace food truck. There was a combo special paste it on their side for smoked wings and smoked ribs. Combo with one side. My wife ordered the meat eaters flatbread. We also ordered an additional side of shoestring fries. I thought my smoked wings and ribs were absolutely delicious! After some seasoning, the shoestring fries were OK. Unfortunately, the meat eaters flatbread really needed some additional seasoning. Italian seasoning? Oregano? Just something more. That said, we can fully recommend the Raquette River Brewing! Great beers, and a very clean and lovely environment. PS, our server did a great job as well! She was friendly and professional! We even walked out with a crowler of American IPA!

I was in a party of two and we ordered a small veggie pizza and falafel with hummus...40 minutes later still no food and no one has given an update. It's no longer busy. When we finally flagged down wait staff (our server was nowhere to be found) we were told they just put it in. So our server clearly never put the order in. Once the food came, my companion's vegetable pizza was burned. My falafel was barely warm, not fried, and soggy. There was no hummus to be found. The side salad was beautiful and tasted great. once I picked out the giant pieces of onion. The 1000 island dressing was excellent. The restaurant was busy when we arrived so I'm guessing locals like it. Perhaps we just came on an off night. But we certainly won't be back next year.

The restaurant wasn't crowded, but there were enough guests to give it a nice atmosphere. It felt comfortable, relaxed, and not noisy at all. We started with the Kung Pao Cauliflower, which was excellent. Even my kids, who don't usually enjoy vegetables, ate every bite. For their meals, both kids ordered brick oven pizzas. My older child had the Labrador and finished the entire pizza by himself, while my younger child ordered the Authentic with pepperoni and really enjoyed it. My wife ordered the fish of the day, and I chose the scallop special. Overall, the food was very good, the service was pleasant, and the waterfront setting made for an enjoyable dining experience. I would definitely return the next time I'm in the area.

All of the staff we interacted with were great and friendly. Our family from this area raved about their poutine, but a recent menu change got rid of it. Despite that they had a variety of starters/apps, sandwiches, pizzas, steaks, plus other entrees including some specials on a separate little menu. Included on that was two cocktails that we tried, I had two of their Strawberry Rhubarb Collins that was light and easy to drink with just enough strawberry and rhubarb flavor. My wife had their special sangria which had tons of flavor. Both fantastic drinks! As a group we split some pretzel sticks as well as some bang bang shrimp. With both being great bites before our meals with the beer cheese and mustard for the pretzels along with the shrimp sweet chili aioli being perfect dips. Lastly for the main event my wife and I were on the same wavelength and got their Vodka Chicken Parm, that originally was to come on top rice pilaf but both substituted for house made pasta. Everything from the vodka sauce, to the house made pasta, to the chicken were fantastic! Would gladly get it again. If we lived around here I would picture this being a regular stop for us! Friendly and welcoming staff with well made drinks and delicious food! Give it a try!
