Wings, rib endz, chicken and waffles

Overall: A hip and casual spot for quick eats and awesome beers! Food: I went with a couple friends and we picked off each others plate, review of each item below: - chicken wings: very good - rib ends: also very good - chicken and waffles: very...good - Mac and cheese: very... there's a trend here, good - Deep fried pickles: very good - fries: nice seasoning, excellent Honestly I wasn't expecting a lot but damn the food was good here. Drinks: They were missing a few beers from the menu, but otherwise drinks were good. The Pale ale was def. the best of the ones I tried (pink fuzz, and the kolch) Service: We showed up and it was full, asked to be put on the wait list and the hostess said they don't really do that... it is a super laid back hipster-esc atmosphere. Our server was pretty good but our experience with the hostess wasn't great... she also accidentally spilled a beer but that happens Atmosphere: This is an industrial style brewery with some art on the inside and nice picnic style tables outside. They have fooseball and pinball and the place reminds me of many Vancouver style breweries Pro-tip: The honey chipotle sauce for he rib endz and the bbq sauce for the wings were amazing

They do not have license to serve alcohol here, this is only a store. You can sample some of the beers before you buy them in cans or growlers, but you can find them at various pubs across Ottawa. Good selection, decent prices. Highly recommend it.

My husband and I went to BTP for some drinks and appetizers. Ambience was great, beer was cold, and service was speedy and attentive! The music was a tad loud at times but it was all part of the experience. We ordered the rib tips with the espresso bbq sauce - sooo good! Would definitely recommend! We had a great time - can't wait for spring to enjoy their patio!

Yep, they're doing friendly! And the beer rocks too!

Excellent Brewery situated in a industrial storefront area. They have a bottle shop or you can come in and buy cold beer and go. Or you can go next door Into The Tasting Room and sit down and linger for a while. They also have a nice outdoor patio with umbrellas and a few outdoor games. We had our three Pekingese with us and they were allowed inside the brewery where they probably got a lot of attention. My husband was very impressed with the beer quality and he bought 2 4 packs to take home. Staff was very friendly and very welcoming.

The Long Version: I'm not much of a beer drinker, although my husband is. Luckily this microbrewery not only makes beer but they also make seltzer, and I love seltzer! Lol. Their seltzer flavours are limited, so I've tried most of them. I've tried the Berry Whip, Cool Melon and Orange Cream. They occasionally have limited edition flavours and I recently tried the Tiger Fruit one (kiwi and mixed berries). I find that most of their core seltzer flavours are pretty ordinary and not as creative as their beer flavours. Like they have an Earl Grey Marmalade beer and they had a chocolate chip pecan cookie-flavoured beer. I wish they had more creative seltzer flavours. I would totally drink an Earl Grey Marmalade seltzer! Lol. Ironically, my husband does not like what he calls "weird" beer flavours, so he wasn't crazy about the ones my brother gave him for his birthday, lol, but he likes the more "normal" flavours. Oh, I recently tried their newest flavour, Grape Jelly, and this is my favourite flavour so far. The brewery is in an industrial park. They have seating and have a limited food menu, mostly snacks. They have a corner where you can buy cans to-go. Their beers are also available to purchase at the LCBO and their seltzers are available at several retailers like some coffee shops (such as Equator Coffee) and some grocery stores (such as Natural Food Pantry). There is free parking on-site. Review #222 (2025)

Tip: City Seltzer is yummy and sugar-free…read more My review is about the seltzer part of Dominion City Brewing. Its City Seltzer line is awesome. I grew up drinking Original New York Seltzer. The seltzer came in short glass bottles with a colourful label, depending on the flavour that you got. I don't know what happened, but this company died and somehow resurrected itself. I don't see this brand often in my area. In July 2024, I was in Winnipeg at a Giant Tiger. It featured a limited tiger tail flavour in the company's City Seltzer line. Proceeds went to Food Banks Canada. It also had berry whip and city citrus varieties. I bought a can of each flavour. I loved them all. Tiger tail had orange, vanilla, and anise flavours. They worked well. It was my first time having anise in a seltzer. It's too bad that it's no longer available. I'd get it again. The berry whip and citrus seltzers were yummy. The fruit and citrus flavours were nice. They weren't in-your-face strong. They were refreshing and perfect. I was in Steinbach and Winnipeg this past summer. Sadly, no tiger tail or any City Seltzer were available at the Giant Tiger locations that I had visited in either city. A few months ago, I was shopping at my local Whole Foods Market. I stumbled across a City Seltzer display. What?! I saw two flavours that I had never seen before: orange cream and cool melon. I grabbed the former to try. I love anything that tastes like an orange creamsicle. This one was so good. I keep dreaming about it. Whole Foods sells City Seltzers in individual cans and a case. I like trying out the former first before I commit to the latter. At this rate, I'd get a case of each flavour available. I still need to try the cool melon. I'm hoping that it makes me feel like I'm at a spa when I drink it. My friend, Jennifer, let me know that this company is in Ottawa. Note to self: I must visit this store the next time I'm in the city. I'm a fan and I want a t-shirt. All the bubbles. No troubles. True. I love this seltzer! (422)

The wooden tables and decor give it a really nice vibe. The beer and food are ordered separately. The bartender was really nice and gave good insight into their beers and their specials. My wife and I each ordered a pint. The marzen was great, it was nice to have as it is generally hard to find this beer style. I can't recall the other beer we got but it was a bit higher abv, but still had malty flavor. The food was a hit too. We got the pretzel and the schnitzel platter. I was a bit confused by the cranberry, but it worked really well with the meat. It was a pretty large portion, perfect for sharing. We opted for the salad instead of fries, and it was a good choice. Fresh greens and lightly dressed, perfect on a hot day. The schnitzel was well cooked, nice and tender for the most part, though the ends were a bit over cooked and chewy. Mixing the lemon and cranberry on it was delightful, but the schnitzel was quite good on its own. The person cooking was really friendly and made sure we were taken care of.
